I'm actually stupid excited to play as Isabelle. Didn't think I'd be this excited, but Villager is one of my favorite Smash characters, afterall

Well, she's definitely a clone but she's not an echo. This is confusing now.
I am honestly surprised that we only got one character (and not the usual one echo for every newcomer we've been fed this cycle).
Pleasantly surprised that Isabelle is not an echo. Not my MOST wanted character, but definitely someone I was hoping for.

Interesting, they're still doing new semi-clones. Disappointed in the lack of an echo fighter announcement, but I suppose there wasn't a good place to put one, given that the Isabelle reveal was tied into Animal Crossing Switch's reveal.

Don't worry, I won't gloat about being right about the Music Rule and Skull Kid. RIP Skull Kid fans and "Isabelle isn't in at all" loz.

Good stuff, though. I'm neutral on Isabelle herself, but I enjoy these unexpected characters way more than the Skull Kids, Gokus and Genos.
Trailer took a bit too long with the build-up, though. I also had liked her to step outside and walk right into Smash. Or have an established Smash character deliver the letter (and then get killed by Nook). Oh well.

More reliable sources have said the same thing before this guy did. He had like a 1 in 4 chance of copying their info and being right. I'd say higher than 50%, since we know Ken won't be the only reveal of a direct and it's unlikely Gamefreak will let Incineroar be shown alongside a Pokemon game Incineroar's not in.
BGBW is a monster, they knew Isabelle would be a semi-clone and would have elements of echo characters and unique characters. I will wear my Haruka or whatever anime monstrosity I deserve with pride

Bandanna Dee is still a Kirby character, he's deconfirmed by the newly validated Music Rule.
She looks like Wolf/Lucas level. So mostly different but there's a handful of shared/similar things there.
Also. I had a feeling we wouldn't get much Smash news.
