Ugh, someone sell me on Salt & Sanctuary. I don't know if I can get past the atrocious character art (IMHO). What's so incredible about it? Yes I enjoy Dark Souls, I even platinumed the first one. But does this have metroidvania aspects? No in-game map?
....and it could be delayed yet again. Isn't there some storm coming in before Friday? Wouldn't surprise me if everything got pushed.
What if it was pushed to Friday the 21st? Some people wouldn't take that well. Assuming I'd have the money to burn by then, I'd still buy both versions regardless.
They can take it to a force of nature for complaints, then :/
So long as we have power the sale will go live as planned.
If anything changes so far as the storm projections and we're forced to delay the sale, an announcement will be made and I'll make sure that gets posted here as well.
I dig that steelbook, but I didn't care for the game so definitely not for me. Still considering a standard because I want to give it another chance but I should really just play my PS4 copy and save the $30.
No reason to buy it again if you already have a PS4 copy.
Also, Salt & Sanctuary collector's edition is up:

- Salt & Sanctuary soundtrack on physical CD
- 18 x 24 inch poster
- Large size game map
I'll get as a sucker for LEs, but guess I'll have to sell the soundtrack, since I got the soundtrack bundle on PS4 >_>
an extra $20 for the CD in a physical form.... i only wanted the map

Wasn't it due to the Vita version needing to be verified first, thst was holding it back?
I believe they were waiting for a patch or something because it ran poorly on vita... it still runs poorly on vita so I guess they figured what the hell, gotta get it out now or never.... I assume the same will happen with Nuclear Throne and its bugs
Is it really? When there's an unlimited version that's beyond easy to get? And they are making 7100 copies of the game, just across 4 sku's.
When they dont wanna do 1 per customer, it becomes that much lower as well...

We are also contending with a Switch version, we know that not everyone wants the Switch version but sale numbers show Switch always outsells PS4/Vita and with a limited supply we can't waste carts on something we might not sell enough of.
Well you now have 2 days to at least put a band-aid on it, and make it one per customer. Fans deserve it.... but I figure you won't and each batch will sell out in less than 10 minutes and I'll just be shaking my head
I wonder though... Since they aren't doing the Switch version, it's only PS4/Vita, both of whuch have been selling through fairly slowly on most games lately.
I wouldn't be surprised if the SEs hang around for a day or two.
it's probably something like they had 200,000 carts left that had been produced when the production would be ending thing came out so now multiple companies are putting their orders in for games but it makes me wonder what they'll do if they run out with games still to produce
Is this just talking about the western pool? Because afaik Japan will continue producing and there's still a few ~50k games left to come.
yes, i have no idea if LRG ever did anything about trying to source games from asia instead after judgement day
Japan and Asia won't be indefinitely producing Vita so it wasn't worth it.
We are ordering a ton ahead of time though to space it out over 2019.
Got my Furi LE, Salt PS4 LE, and Salt Vita SE. A little nerv-racking today, since i had 3 skinny windows open and then didn't want to refresh when countdown hit zero, so had to add them all to cart from 1 skinny window >_> Well, got em all in time.
EDIT: Didn't realize Furi artbook was separate... Well, if there's any leftovers (although I doubt it) during the second batch, I'll grab. I'm thinking it's completely gone though?
Also, Salt Vita is gone, Furi LE soon too.

shame limitedrungames refuses to heed the warnings and make it one per.... sucks so many miss out
There's still a second batch always... Last time I asked them to make a 2-per, 1-per instead, the items didn't sell out for over a week because apparently there wasn't as much demand as expected.
