Apparently Wavedashing isn't totally bad at least for some characters. Ice Climbers actually have a full Melee-esqe Wavedash. So in the current build maybe some characters are gonna have viable Wavedashes assuming they either take it out or distribute it to the rest of the cast.

Plenty of cute final starters, just look at how cuddly Feraligatr is.
It's really just out of my need to stop seeing the name Vergeben anywhere when the person has literally only guessed the following things correctly:
- Ridley
- Simon
- No cuts from Smash 4/5
- Some returning vets (somehow missed Pichu, Young Link, Pokemon Trainer)
None of which are even remotely difficult to put out there and get right. The most far-fetched one is Snake, which plenty of people seriously entertained happening. Combine this with the fact that they can get a pass on getting numerous other (non-Smash) things wrong because "multiple sources."
In this strange version of reality we're in, you can take some of my own roster predictions, state them as facts, and say I have multiple sources; boom, I have as much credibility as them.
Kind of like how Xenoblade 2's is 20% actual criticism 20% comparison to the other games and 60% on the character designs.
Xenoblade X was a compelling world to explore, and I enjoyed the combat more than 2.
Elma was a good character. Quite frankly she could've and should've been the protagonist instead of Cross.
It'd be nice if we got more Elmas and less submissive passiveness in the next Monolith Soft game's women characters.

People had lots of issues with it especially when comparing It to XB1, It was worse than RE5 to RE4
Elma basically was the main character. At least for the main story missions. They even call your group Team Elma.

I liked Xenoblade X when I first bought it, hated it 10 minutes in, was super disappointed two hours in, and then liked it in March 2017 after I learned that it was basically a Breath of the Wild proof of concept. I would never replay it or recommend it in a million years tho

Well Xenoblade 2 is already filled with more proactive women characters. Pyra is the only one who's kind of passive but she's still pretty active for her archetype. The female characters in 2 are all tops.
The crock's out of the bag; GF better just cut their losses & make Crocky an official Pokemon in Gen 8.

Xenoblade X was 70% good forward-thinking ideas, 20% kinda stale stuff, and 10% "what the fuck why" stuff.
Fair enough. The fact that nobody was able to guess Richter, a notable 3rd party character that was part of a really expensive CGI trailer, does paint a massive redflag on most supposed leakers. Still, rallying behind them and then dogpiling them when they turn out to be wrong is always part of the fun :P
If Xenoblade Chronicles X's world had BOTW mechanics, I might agree with you.
And then slap on one of the worst UIs and put it on the least user friendly system in Nintendo history.
I'd argue Xenoblade 2's HUD is worse, but I know I'm going to lose that debate.
A font size increaser would've done wonders for XCX.
I really like Xenoblade X even if I think 1 and 2 are better. I really enjoyed my time with it but I kind of dipped out after putting in 60 hours for the main story and trying to fill out the map as much as I could.
For all the crap people give 2 for it's QOL and Blade system I would rather deal with Xenoblade 2's bullshit than needing to hunt down Party members I want to recruit all around New LA and the fact that they don't gain experience. It made wanting to pursue the rest of the game's content feel like a chore straight out of the gate.
Still super want a Switch port tho.

There is evidence that they swapped yesterday's music update with next week's. Which tells us that the music was related to the newcomer in the direct, and since each series only gets 1 music post on the site, and Zelda already has a track posted, Skull Kid won't be revealed tomorrow unless we get 2 newcomers.

As for what I expect from tomorrow's direct...I think it's time for the scarecrows (either Geno or Skull Kid).

Good point, however maybe Zelda will be first to get another music post. I mean, the Zelda songs were highlighted in the last direct (that screen with the ellipses that showed there was more coming).

The updates are numbered in Japan, and they skipped a bunch this week so we have empty slots. I could be wrong but I believe the highest number is the Pikmin song, and they've gone back and forth between this week and last week otherwise.
Thus, Slot Theory™ dictates that they skipped all the way ahead a week to give us next week's song, because this week's song could not be added until after the newcomer was revealed, in accordance with the Music Rule.
RIP Skull Kid, Bandana Dee, and Geno. I will miss two of you.
I kinda only get anything out of the part where leakers get BTFO, which is why I loved the Robin reveal so much.

None of them (unfortunately) stand a chance over Rex. Period. Elma is really the only shot there is for a female Xenoblade character. And we really, really need a lot more cool girls in Smash. And Elma's cool. Ergo.
