I have a 1070 and set on High it looks pretty but I'm getting some weird issues.
Same issue on my 1060. The benchmark didn't had this issue.

Same issue on my 1060. The benchmark didn't had this issue.
This could be someone reacting to the setting rather than the actual graphics (like saying a desert game looks "worse" than a jungle one), but I'd never say this looks less good than Horizon 3, especially if you're on PC. Maybe if they were on console playing in the 60fps mode, and were comparing it to the 4K patch for 3?
The LOD is definitely harsher than FH3 on ultra settings on PC, I haven't played enough extreme yet to tell if that fixes my issue with the LOD. (FH3 didn't have 'extreme' settings, so maybe extreme in FH4 is FH3 ultra?) The deciduous trees look pretty bad from a moderate distance.
Pine trees look great though.
Is there any dlc or something that can get me ulmate edition content? I will play it with gamepass but I also want to buy extra stuff.

Bummed that I don't have a Hospital Records station for the demo. Drum n Bass suits these games so well.
Feeling like Test Drive Ultimate with the cutscenes and game style (first time playing this franchise), but with great performance. It auto put me on high settings but hardly use much of my GPU yet. I guess it gets crazy later in the game.

Shame, game is forcing me to install one of Nvdia's new shit drivers to play, when they introduce stuttering and similar problems on other games here (GTA V for an example). Will have to pass.
I'm losing my shit here. 3440x1440 21:9 Ultrawide with ultra settings and it's a rock solid 60FPS.

I use a ton of overlays and ignored the gpu update message. No problems so far.
I hope you can move the HUD map. Up somewhere instead of the lower left corner, and it seems so small. One without the border and a bit closer to the middle, maybe lower opacity.

i think some users are having lod issues, but the lighting (and specifically how the foliage reacts to light) is a significant improvement
Agreed. I had planned on playing the game in performance mode which I tried first. It looked fine but the aliasing and graphics weren't amazing like Horizon 3 was on xbox one x. I then tried the 4K mode, what a difference. This might be the best looking game of the generation. I think I will stick with 4K now.

Alright, I asked because there is a now known bug in Nvidia's APIs that triggers microstuttering when voltage-states are being monitored.
Good thing we can brute force MSAA with a pretty good (by today's standards) performance impact, since there's no TAA to be found and the game with no AA looks quite jaggy. Absolutely incredible graphics though.
There is an ignore and continue button but I didn't try it.

The close mountain or the one in the distance because if its the close one as someone from the UK that looks realistic tbh my one complaint would be how the sky links with the mountain but its a low one
That isn't a mountain in that screenshot on the middle/left. Those are cliffside rocks.

That's anisotropic filtering. What setting are you using on pc? Gpu?
Playing on the X and like everyone is saying its beautiful and with HDR is something else. Its so colorful. I love the newly added lens flare. Ghost games didnt add HDR NFS Payback. Hopefully they will learn how to do it right for their next game.

The screenshot isn't mine but I noticed the same problem when playing (high settings with a GTX 970 in my case). But I can't tell if that's how it is supposed to look or just a glitch.
I don't even understand how can they surpass FH3 which is nigh on perfect as an arcade racer AND a graphics showcase (post patch on PC of course) and somehow they actually did it.
