Going in with expectations of very little in terms of newly revealed games actually. Well save for the leaked stuff from last week. xD
Would love to be wrong and they do reveal one of their big 2019 games (can dream for Prime 4)

they literally just revealed Smash Bros in the most recent general Direct
Except they don't.
Smash, Pokemon, Breath of the Wild, Bayonetta 3, A Link between worlds ... were all announed outside of E3 and I don't count the January Switch presentation.
and before that Mario Tennis was revealved in the Jan. Direct. and so on
Botw was announced at e3.
But yeah, nintendo doesn't care about saving stuff from e3. We've seen this the past few years. Dunno why it keeps getting said

Aonuma talked about BotW and what he wanted to do with this game during the 2013 January Direct. But yeah no footage.
Oh right, that first look and the cutscene was e3. But didn't Aonuma talk about it first in that January direct that announced Wind Waker HD?
We are talking about nintendo here sadly so anything is possible.

Yeah, I personally don't count it as the "official" announcement. Especially for sequels we know are coming.
For instance, when Pikmin 4 gets a trailer, or screenshots & PR, that's when it's announced. Not e3 2014 or however many years ago miyamoto talked about it lol.
Or Star Fox Zero's announcement was E3 2015 for me. Not the blurred tease at e3 2014, or when the project was first talked about in like 2010 or 2011(?). Or even people playing it behind closed doors at E3 2014 wouldn't count for me.

That would be hilarious if a stone-cold classic like EarthBound was rebranded "EarthBound: Middles," lol
I like that idea. Even better - add optional remasters that have the claymation aesthetic of some of the promotional art.

It's by far the best one in the series. They should just call it EarthBound tbh.

I guess. It would be relatively easy to fake claymation in modern graphics and make it look good though. Especially because the Earthbound games aren't super technically-demanding in terms of mechanics.
Mother 3 aka Earthbound: Journeys for 3DS. Remade especially to take advantage of the 3DS's capabilities.

Nah. Mother 3 has some plotlines that are actively bad, and doesn't feel like it earns a lot of its emotional weight.
Best soundtrack of the series though.
