I wonder if they'll go with the historical Spartan way of dealing with twins...The details unfortunately are under spoiler territory at the moment, but I will say that the way they handle the character you haven't chosen is pretty weird to wrap your head around.
The what now?I wonder if they'll go with the historical Spartan way of dealing with twins...
Thank you :)! I didn't know that there'd be a Roman love interest (didn't know the Romans would have much of a presence in this at all, TBH :p).Hola, I wrote a very specific, spoiler-free thing about being bisexual / romance choices, went live today.

Choice quotes from senior producer:
D:
it's not only the water shader, it's the waves, seems like geometry deformations when the waves fall on themselves. The most realistic water ocean shore that i ever see in any videogame! If it's really in that way, this is the definitive proof that water can be excellent and with real geometric deformation in any game with enough budget and time, it's no a power problem anymore! Unfortunately only ubisoft managed to get this kind of water in most of their games lately. Others adventures games are really behind in this aspect (shadow of the tomb raider seems to have the same painted waves on the surface like oblivion! A 2006 game! I hate that kind of water with all myself!!!)
Yeap, that's what I did with Origins, grabbed the "Gold Edition" which had Season Pass and some other crap for $45 on BF or maybe Christmas (don't quite remember).TBF, it does seem like there is a lot more water in Odyssey, so my guess it that the landmass is roughly the same, which is still huge. I'm really looking forward to Odyssey, but I hate Ubi's pricing structure for the game. Like I did with Origins, I'm going to wait until I can get the "complete edition", or whatever the most expensive/complete version of the game is for the same price as the base game at launch and jump in then. If history has taught me anything, that should be by around Christmas.
I'll be honest. I'll probably skip the side content. It sucked in Origins.
I tried to in Origins but the levelgating made it impossible.I'll be honest. I'll probably skip the side content. It sucked in Origins.
Player choice + the big jump in writing quality will make side quests a lot more appealing I think.I'll be honest. I'll probably skip the side content. It sucked in Origins.

? I felt overleveld because of doing sidequests, and that wasn't even close to doing all of themI'm hoping the team has learnt from Origins and made side quests more substantial in terms of EXP gain. Origins had the issue where side quests gave you so little EXP that it felt like you weren't making much progress at all after doing a few of them. Its DLC fixed this issue but went a bit too far in the other direction, so Odyssey has to strike a balance there.

I was particularly impressed by the editing and amount of little gestures here:
A lot of work went into the tools for the RPG convo system and it shows. In another life we could've had another Mass Effect Andromeda situation where the team struggled to create the proper tools and didn't have a sufficient workforce.
