Yeah I forgot to say that I actually got an email randomly. I only managed to play a handful of matches but framerate aside this plays really well on the Switch! Will there be crossplay/cross-progression with the mobile version?
I asked a Tencent rep that very question during an interview, and from what I can tell, I think they're going to keep the mobile and Switch versions and accounts separate. Since they are really serious about this being a competitive game, they were thinking that cross-play wouldn't be a good idea, because players on mobile could cite unfair gameplay advantages to those able to use a controller (or vice versa).
Basically, since this is going to be an esport that Tencent pours money into, they want to make sure that everyone is playing on the level, which means keeping controls the same for everyone.
I see, this makes sense and is fair yeah, I just hoped it would atleast include cross-progression because I'm not seriously interested in the mobile-version with the Switch version on the horizon but purely by logging in I got a few nice skins in the mobile-version I would have loved to keep.
Same. I got a Chaugnar skin I'd love to keep, but I don't mind starting over.
Hmm yeah I shouldn't dwell on skins too much, I'm sure the Switch version will have it's own giveaways.

It says Sept 12th through the 14th. I bet the game goes live after that, this Friday.
If the game were going live this Friday I'm sure they would have said so. That would be a pretty hot launch. They did state that the purpose of this early access period was to further polish the game, so I expect they'd at least want time to make any last-minute updates / tweaks before launch. I could be wrong, but I'd think next week at the earliest for launch.
It very well may be. I still wouldn't count on a launch this week, though.

Not trying to burst your bubble, but the first few matches are against bots (even in the "real" matches).

Man, I haven't played on mobile for months, and there are a lot of new things to catch up on. It seriously exploded in content lately, and now with daily sign in bonuses, you either stay active or give up trying. It kinda sucks

Yeah I'm enjoying it as well. Does anyone have a guild up on the Switch version? It was really fun when our guild was active on the phone.

You might have to search under charters and not guilds, if you still can't find it then not sure.
Yeah in charters I see only 10 guilds and no one is resetera.
I might have to friend you, then send you an invite to sign.
edit: Okay so I don't see anywhere to invite you to sign the charter so I have no idea. I checked reddit and someone said you might automatically get an invite? So check your mail in a bit I guess.

I keep pressing update and see more charters, maybe ill reach resetera haha. The system is pretty bad. Now I know why there are so few guilds.
Yeah the current menus are ass, I'm hoping we get some QoL fixes soon.

Edit: Found I can create a Charter, so I did, ResetERA
Edit2: Capital ERA bugged me, so I delete the charter and tried to make ResetEra with a different icon too, and then it said it existed....so no idea where it is. haha

Okay, I think I figured it out.
You have to be friends with the person who creates the charter beforehand and if you are not in a guild it will automatically send you an invite, so I just need to add 2 more people from here so when I create the charter we have enough to sign.

There does seem to be awards you can get that are attached to guild progression though and it doesn't seem like too many people from here are playing this so if we start a guild and we only get like 5 people I might just join a more active guild to get the rewards.
It says you created a Guild but it doesnt exist anymore. Yeah, how many people are playing from Era? Numberfox BizzyBum and RaySpencer.
