I wouldn't say they have not been fantastic... But damn those gamecube tracks were something else. It really delivered another ambiance than the last games. More mystic, more of a "little village hidden in a magical forest" vibe. Animal Crossing Gamecube version still the goat.

AC isn't a megaton (despite the last epiaode being the best selling game of the gen in Japan, for example)
That Mario U collection would be disappointing

Yeah, most likely. The only other possible event for Nintendo announcements this year is The Game Awards and if they're going to show stuff there it'll be Metroid Prime 4 or Bayonetta 3 (or something else similar).
Does Mega Man even have a soul? Or is he forever trapped at the bottom of that space station, his hard drive slowly decaying with age until there's nothing left?

i feel like since three houses will have the biggest budget of any FE game in a while and since it's on switch which has helped many series get to new heights, it can do maybe more than that a bit

Yeah, that was a little harsh. They've been good, but they haven't been nearly as good as the GC tracks. Nothing gets me more nostalgic than hearing those tunes.

My position exactly. Is AC my cup of tea? Not really. I played Wild World for a few months and didn't really see the appeal. Is it a franchise with a huge fanbase and desperately in need of a full new game? Yes. Absolutely yes.

Well I guess its decided, I might as well just stop playing video games now because I dislike everything about Animal Crossing.
It was scheduled right next to the direct. The same block was scheduled next to the delayed direct before being delayed along with it.

I'm worried that anything AC related will be for Pocket Camp, even though I regularly log into that game.

TGS also starts next week, and I believe it's been said that Nintendo wants to get this Direct out there before then.
