Saying text and information being displayed on a circle is bad is factually correct though, and I'm not saying circular watches are bad, I'm saying circular computing devices are bad.

Seems the iWatch quietly got more expensive. Hopefully the price stabilizes next year. It's already an expensive gadget.
Also, Tim was really excited for the new phones but seems like a small step for the phone. Wonder if they have a surprise or is just marketing as usual.

But it's entirely subjective, and offering an option is not a bad thing.
thanks. I can live with that. 3D touch OLED with 60% higher dynamic range sounds good enough, for now.
it's branding. they aren't ditching it any time soon. especially when doing so removes said branding.
damn that 6.5" screen is amazing.. still too big of a body for me.
it's not subjective. Showing less visual information is worse than more visual information. your preference for the aesthetics is certainly subjective. but more space for information will always be better.
I heard wrong. As soon as they get ProMotion in it's going to elevate them to a new level. Android phones will feel super laggy to the uninformed.

I know people love that, but it never really did it for me. I like the one I linked because it's a genuinely captivating little performance, while that video always felt as way too on the nose as a "look we're being emotional" commercial.
