I never thought about that. That would be so damn helpful for me (I don't own any smart watch). Now you got me thinking.I use my watch all the time while driving. Answering calls hands free, driving directions, it's great.
But it wouldn't. Samsung does it perfectly fine and a bunch of other companies do too.Round would probably look better, but dramatically reduce functionality. The whole point of getting a smart watch over an analog watch is for functionality.
Might have to upgrade my Series 3 to this, this seems like a pretty good upgrade.

Apple Watch is a cool device, but the need to charge the damn thing daily is just a non-starter for me.

Whats the point of fall detection?
For the watch to say "good job idiot?"
Yeah. It's definitely useful for GPS and getting directions, but other than that, I don't see the deal considering this things cost tons of money, especially the ones from Apple.I think it depends on how you use it. I don't like them, but my dad uses his for traveling in different airports, dealing with directions in new places, etc.
Apple Don't Care"Ow"
"I've dedected a hard fall"
"Thanks Siri, I-"
"No Apple Care detected. Seek help."
Yep, I'm out. They clapped for the "detect a fall" thing twice. Once for the reveal, once for the description. While I've been typing this, they've clapped twice at other things. C'mon.applause for literally every other sentence. i think i'm done LOL
i lasted 12 minutes
Yeah thinking the same. Might just be it calls who you set as your emergency contact. Doubt they would want the liability of calling or not calling 911 for you. This fall detection stuff is interesting, but it seems like it may cause a lot of false positives that call emergency services
But it wouldn't. Samsung does it perfectly fine and a bunch of other companies do too.
