I finished sunset but only played a bit of spiderman(no intention to buy it). Sunset is the better game but you can tell when playing it needs a sequel or bigger budget to perfect the formula. A lot of side stuff aka filler gets repetitive and mission designs could be better. Some of the main missions are really good though. Spiderman suffers from the same problem(maybe its an insomniac thing) but they added a ton more filler which is disappointing. The main improvement spiderman has over sunset is they don't limit your traversal ability nearly as much. Sunset can drag at the start and leave you questioning why people praise it so much because it takes time to unlock abilities to really get around. Spiderman feels pretty freeing right from the get go.

Honestly I don't know what people see in Sunset Overdrive. The game felt so bland to me that I dropped after like 3 or 4 hours. Never came back.

the beginning is the worst part of sunset as youre quite limited. there are better missions and traversal gets much better a little ways in.
