Oh boy, just got the Geomag Stabilizers on my Warlock. Guess the random perks could have been better, but for someone that really loves using Chaos Reach, I'm very much okay with just getting these. They also looks sweet as fuck

Just did the Ascendant Challenge, got a 543 PL Tigerspite and a normal Sleepless rocket launcher drop but it has Kill Clip and Cluster Bomb which has to be considered a great roll considering you reload after every rocket anyways, right?

I was sorting through my inventory to clear up space and I totally forgot I still have planetary tokens. Those don't mean much anymore right ? Can I turn them all in and just scrap all the crap I get ?

Nightfall Powerful Engram gave me the Exotic Sword and immediately after the Ikora Powerful Engram gave me Cerberus+1

3 Exotics all of Forsaken up until tonight (borealis, AC/D0, Dunemarchers) and then in a span of a couple minutes I get 2 new ones. Both seem pretty fun and could be useful in certain situations. Cerberus+1 was really good on Taken Blight PE. Triggered and nearly beat the heroic blight on Dreaming City by myself (boss did a stutter in a blight at the end and was immune with a sliver of health). Any big enemy with a big ole hitbox or a swarm of small enemies will be perfect for that gun.

Today was a crazy RNG day.... was just commenting in our Discord that I've played 60-80 hours and not gotten a single Exotic to drop. Went on Titan to farm mats, 4th chest Borealis drops (I'm on Xbox, so new to me). Then went to play Gambit before reset, and a Two Tailed Fox drops. As I rank up my Gambit infamy, Shinobu's Vow drops. Go to the Tower to decrypt some Tess engrams, the John Deer Exotic sparrow drops. Then my first strike I get the Merciless Catalyst to drop...... Never had this kind of luck in one setting.

Maybe the hotfix secretly buffed Exotics...

Got 2 so far in Hard Light and Wardriff myself over a week

I finally got my first Warmind exotic yesterday (that wasn't from Xur), I'm probably never getting a Forsaken one.

Man, reading this thread's last few pages...

I got leaped on for throwing out the idea that Bungie kinda fucked up this expansion's launch with the earlier round of bugs, seems it's just gotten worse since then.

I feel you but believe me it's nothing. Try reaching the last phase in Tier III mate..

It really is pretty easy once you are 520 or have 6 players below that who know what they are doing. Its that classic Ddestiny thing where sometimes I'm in there with randoms and it works like magic. Everybody dps the SAME boss at the end instead of going around shootin at everything else which is incredibly frustrating. Then you can have a group with more players and we cannot take down either boss...which is incredibly frustrating, but not the game's fault. Did Tier III last night for the first time with I think 7 players and it went really well as everybody concentrated on the same boss. Great feeling when you get through the encounter.

Tried Tier II again and again and again

fail

I'm pissed off. I had a good week last week but this week I hit a wall and not enjoying the fact that the other super are tucked in end game content and group play.

I didn't like Warmind because of Escalation Prototcol and I don't like this Blind Well either
It's weird I've had no trouble at all with tier 2, completed it at least 30 odd times. You just need stacked debuffs and 3 to 4 good dps. Tier 3 is the same. But you need max players. Well of radiance, tethers and whispers. How many people are you trying to do it with. I think 5 is minium at the moment for tier 2

Why are the bosses the same in the blind well? I did it for like an hour with randoms and the final boss of the 2 tiers are the same big abomination...I expected it to be like Court of oryx tbh

Blind Well is not even close to as tough or frustrating as EP. It's significantly easier if you have the right amount of people.

The easy place to check these are the Collections, where you can see each armor set. Just look for the Forsaken icon to tell you it's Season 4 and then read the description.
Yep, the only thing which could maybe catch someone out, if they aren't paying much attention is the Crucible armor, as it has slightly different names depending on the class.
Titan is Wing Discipline.
Warlock is Wing Theorem.
And Hunter is Wing Contender.

Locking the other subclasses behind the blind well is so dumb, why don't they just reset the quest every week instead?

At least this way, people have the opportunity to work for the next tier, instead of having to wait for it.

Remember in D1, where you had to wait a week to get your new exotic sword, class weapons, or Tex Mechanica exotics? People hated that and complained endlessly about it.

I unlocked the new void hunter with my first seed. Super was fun, smoke just seemed more of the same except it exploded instead of being triggered. the invisibility and damage buff melee was fun to use.

Blade Barrage hunter looked neat but the super, just visually, didn't stand out to me. Then I saw someone else use it in Blinding Well. I used my seed on it, unlocked everything, and played around a bit.

Holy shit I haven't had this much fun playing Hunter in a while. The super is borderline OP. Shreds single targets, and can coat an area of trash mobs. Might just be the single highest DPS super in the game. Curious how nighthawk, missle, and chaos reach compare. This is also the very first "Panic" super hunters have gotten.

Then the knives. Oh my god the knives. They do VERY good damage, burn over time, and if you hit just one target, have a 15 second cooldown. 2 targets its something like less than 10. 3, less than 5. Great synergy on a base hunter with gamblers dodge. But the subclass synergizes so well with a couple exotics.

Any exotic build around dodging (wraithmail, wormhusk) gets a boost because burning enemies bring your dodge back.
Ahmkaras Spine + the knives let you basically always have a tripmine.
and my favorite

Ophidia Spathe basically turns you into Genji. It gives you an extra knife charge, so you have 2 knives that will almost always be recharging at the 3x rate. I've cleared entire rooms just fan knifing everything.

So has it been confirmed that the bugged challenges (heroics, gambit and crucible) now drop powerful rewards if you didn't complete them after Saturday reset?

Also, 523 LL and still haven't seen a single exotic drop. Please tell me I'm not alone

Yeah, blade barrage really is something else. I really need to get me Ophidia Spathe, I've been a Celestial Nighthawk main since Day 1 but this new subclass is way too fun.

Won't be surprised if we see a nerf come in at some point.

Saw some posts earlier about blind well struggles. Here's the quick tips.

1. Focus one boss at a time.*
2. Give Harmony Orbs to blade barrage hunters if there are any. They will MELT the shield. Otherwise, give it to people with the best damage supers/weapons.
3. A warlock with a well of radiance makes it VERY easy.

* as a blade barrage hunter I found it helped (in a rando group) to just solo the shields off of the guys whenever I got a harmony orb. Then focus on team damage. Reason being randos kept taking the orbs and barely tickeling the shield. So if my team is focusing Boss 1 and I get a harmony, I'm using blade barrage on the other boss.

I had a great last hour or so, got another Seed of Light, finished off the Petra Weeklies sans for the 8 Daily Bounties completed one, got the right gear slot drops I needed and hit 539 PL on my Titan. Still need Reverie Dawn leg armor though to complete the set.

What am I missinga bout Blind Well?

I'm PL 507. I stumbled upon it while exploring, viewed the people there and they were around 500-520 PL.

We did Tier 1, np, straight forward. Stand in light, kill, move on, repeat.

Teir 2 comes and everything is immune with ?? above. Figured I was just too low PL, but then the group finished it and some were the same or lower than me so I thought I missed a mechanic.

Looked up killing the specific enemies to gain buff, but they were immune too. Tried to stand near people who seemed to be doing dmg, nothing, looked for things to pick up, nothing...

What was I missing? Can someone please to a little step by step here because I'm clearly an idiot in need.

Some of the glowing enemies drop a Harmony orb when you kill them which will charge your super & abilities and allow you to kill the enemies who are immune when you shoot them. The final boss(es) also have this immune shield so when they appear you need one of those harmony orbs to drop the shield.

Every enemy was immune though, even the glowing green ones.

They all had ?? next to their health bars, but people of the same Pl were there with me who seemed to be doing dmg.

Have to say, Ace in the Hole is a fantastic mission and send-off for Cayde as a whole. They couldn't have done it better.

The part at the end with Ikora nearly had me in tears.

Nearly.

I've been playing a ton of Gambit (it's all I've done for a few days). I understand how the game works and I can see how many points I need to rank up etc but I'd like to know how many points you gain for a win and for a loss. I've googled it but can't see anything that has anything about this. Anyone know?

Very late to the party on this one, but WOW is this a great looking game on PC. Just stunning art direction and super fluid animations. I never played the original Destiny, and am only a few hours into the base campaign from 2016, so I have no idea what's going on story-wise, but I'm really enjoying my time with it. The combat feedback is outrageously satisfying.

For all the things people have complained about since Destiny 1, the combat was always highly regarded.

I truly believe Bungie's pedigree in shooters has carried this game all this time, and the implementation of the bow is something Bungie should be damn proud of.

I have yet to see a game where shooting feels this good. Even Doom 2016 doesnt come close. Seeing the particles go off is just pure extasy.

Despite how excessively I use Fighting Lion in PVE, I've fallen out of using it in PVP. Liking this new play style with Ace and a bow.

Also, Well of Radiance is the legit super in PVP. I must get Phoenix Pritocol to maximize its potential.
