Wait, wait...
Mangagamer can bring over Evenicle now, can't they?
Also, I can't help but laugh at Valve's Frequent Violence and Gore category:

Killing those adorable monsters is worse than anything you can do in Rockstar games

Playing 7th Circle, whenever I try to take a screenshot I get this menu.

Tried to rebind the screenshot button and still didn't work, oh well.

Hmm, you tried to rebind it in Chrome? I didn't think you could change the Developer TooIs schortcuts, just disable dev tools entirely. I think that the default Open Dev Tools shortcut is F12 or Ctrl-Shift-I. You've changed both of those? Does this happen even if you don't have Chrome open?

Bad Company 2 is incredible. I was seriously thinking just the other day that the next Battlefield really needs to be Battlefield: Bad Company 2: 2 and go in hard with the lighthearted meta-commentary about modern shooters. Just find that Arica Harbor 24/7 server that I hope is still kicking and you're golden.

Anyone played Ni no Kuni 2 with the difficulty update? I probably won't pick it up for at least a few weeks, might even wait for Fall Sale to see where it goes, but I was just browsing around the other day and saw that it added a Hard Mode, so I'd be super interested in it if it's implemented well.

I'm not usually much for "realistic" military shooters, but Bad Company 2 is worth $3, right?
It's great fun for that price. Though I played through it after hours of ARMA videos and spent way too much time clearing village huts (don't do this) and trying to snipe all the way across single player levels (they don't spawn enemies that far away in the campaign). Fun though.

Equivalent to just over £40 in Malaysia, which is better than the £50 it is in the UK, but still not fantastic. I guess I could buy a few Steam Wallet codes from CDKeys to get a further discount - 2 x £20 wallet codes would be £37.40, and even if I had to add a bit of RM, I'd still get it for a little less than £40.

Man, shouldn't be this hard to get a decent price for a game. :/

So about the adult games on Steam.

I actually wonder why its not an option? Stuff like that banned Pop game is totally fine without the H-scenes. Maybe people want to read Grisaia without them. I wonder if there will be some option to turn them off.

Oh, Origin, you always have something fun planned for me everytime I try to dust off the shortcut to your client.

I'm so used to updates messing up stuff, and/or credentials being forgotten. But this one today, with a simple messagbox telling me that with capital letters that internet connection is needed, and that I need to check this very connection I'm using to rant about this, that was a new one.

And I wonder why I never check out any new games on Origin. It's a mystery.
Yeah.
It actually worked better when it was just EA download manager.

Can you access help.ea.com? If not, this might be the solution. Was for me anyway.

Trying to get back into Yakuza and I was wondering how you guys juggled the mini games and trying to complete them vs trying to progress the story? I probably will likely only do the random mini games till I get all the high scores and/or if there are rewards associated with them but man there are so many of them...its crazy.

Completed Kiryu's chapter 5 or 6 last night and man that was some epic stuff. The Yakuza street brawls leading up to the sewer fight and finally the scene with your bro...so good. I only wish the side quests were as appealing as the main story. Don't get me wrong, I like doing them but some of the writing in there is late 80s to early 90s daytime drama tier. The lighthearted and jokey ones are fine but the ones that try to make it sappy and emotional don't pay off for me. I realize they don't have the budget for Witcher 3 level side quests but maybe some of them could have expanded beyond the 10 mins of running around and instead built up to something memorable with multiple parts would have been better.

Sekiro is finally up for pre-orders in Asia regions. And man, the pricing is not friendly at all.

I guess that's a skip for me.

Miyazaki, you sly dog. By making it $69.90 instead of $70 you knew I would have no choice but to buy it day one now because you did not trip my "Imma wait for a sale" switch......genius.

Not available for preorder in China...
Can you access the store page? Weird, I thought there are only 3 publishers for Sekiro. If China is not in either of them, who's the publisher then?

I preordered Forza Horizon 4 UE so Spider-man could wait a while.

Full $60 in Taiwan.

This is worth noting, but I have no idea what this means exactly.

Yeah, apparently the game is being distributed by 3 different publishers.

NA/EU: Activision
Japan: FromSoftware
Asia: Cubejoy

Though it should be noted that some Asian countries are still handled by Activision.

Any pre-order bonuses for Sekiro? Otherwise idk what the reason one would pre-order it now would be since it seems full price.

Mt. Whatever
With the release and acceptance of AO content on Steam being a thing now, could a mod or site staff clarify policy on these things?

Are we allowed to mention them but not their contents? Are they all banned wholesale? Reviews? Links?

Just curious, cuz there was nothing illegal about Negligee or whatever it's called, yet it became banned when really vocal people started getting uppity about a style they obviously just don't like?

Origin might be the most hilarious client I've ever had.

The darn thing literally uninstalls itself. I've had it happen a quite a few times. Such a broken mess

There doesn't seem to be a coherent policy in any shape and all decisions are made ad-hoc.

I feel now that a major gaming platform will have ready access to AO games, maybe it would be time to update the FAQ and explain.
I assume links and images are obviously not okay, mentioning them might be a grey area. Would it be okay if someone recommends such a game? And if not, then would it be okay to even mention it?

Decided to play Civ5 on Epic speed due to many recommendations. 300 turns later.

tenor.gif

It was fine in the beginning, but a week later I'm like ok this is ridiculous. This isn't exactly a Paradox game with a million things to do, it's just painstakingly repetitive making research/build take so long. Gonna go back to normal speed in future games.

In other news, decided to add Democracy 3 to my Steam wishlist, waiting for it to be super cheap before I bite though. Anyone played it? Not many modern day strategy games out there.
