Still less disappointing than a Yoshi's New Island remix"It's a new game so you know we had to remix Jungle Hijinx again! This version is preformed by me on my recorder."
Well be prepared, because they're probably not gonna. And they shouldn't have to.After reading this, it seems absolutely ridiculous for them to do anything other an announce the direct's permanent cancellation. Anything less would be disrespectful to the hurricane victims and their families.
Not when it's a new series with a generic music icon.eh

this would be great though, because it means a new remix and also something from wario's other seriesI predict that today's music will be...
A remix of the Wario World Pause Menu Theme

Okay after listening to this song I'm onboard the Karate Joe train. This song is a total jam.

True, but you'd think that Nintendo would unionize Smash & BotW.Nintendo's VA situations have always been case by case. Some are union, some aren't. And Smash is just an unusual production in general from the standpoint of voice audio usage.

You know what? Mary O would be cool. Just because I've seen no two pitches for her moveset that look the same.
And Sakurai knows how to come up with cool movesets in weird situations.
I have so many favorites and I would love to see an uptempo Latin remix of Glee Club in Smash, but for now I'll share this underappreciated gem:
To those saying that Nintendo shouldn't permanently cancel the direct out of respect for the victims of the hurricane and their families: I question your priorities.
A precedent has been set: Directs get cancelled due to natural disasters out of respect. I trust Nintendo will do the right thing and cancel, or at the very least further delay, out of respect for the people who's homes are about to wash away.
Okay I'm not a fan of the logic of "we haven't seen X so they must be saving it for Y" that we all got caught up in buuuuut... there has to be a reason nothing Rhythm Heaven related has been revealed... right?
Right?
Please?

Even if Nintendo continues to hold off on the Direct for another week due to the incoming hurricane (note that they have not officially confirmed that the Direct is back on for this week), why couldn't they just delay it further? Why would it be morally better to cancel it entirely than to delay it? Or what if they do broadcast it this week, but with the game containing subject matter sensitive to the issue of natural disasters (some were suggesting it's Cities: Skylines?) either cut back in presentation or excised entirely? To those saying that Nintendo shouldn't permanently cancel the direct out of respect for the victims of the hurricane and their families: I question your priorities.

You have to be trolling at this point. To those saying that Nintendo shouldn't permanently cancel the direct out of respect for the victims of the hurricane and their families: I question your priorities.

yeah, I've been worrying that this might be an issueHonestly, Sakurai's latest Famitsu column talked about issues securing rights to use music in the game, and I wonder if that's what's holding Rhythm Heaven back. Masami Yone is responsible for my beloved Monkey Watch and a handful of other great tunes, but most of the really iconic ones are done by Tsunku. His compositions really define the series, and I wonder if Sakurai doesn't want to include an RH rep without Tsunku's music :(
I mean, their two different companies. Not saying Sony was in the wrong but Nintendo might just have different thinking on the issue. In the Sony TGS show they had an earthquake in one of the games, so I don't think the Direct was delayed due to content.
If I remember right that explosion is actually a bomb going off completely unrelated to the Falcon Punch.
Sorry to spoil the meme.
It is, yes

People of course should prioritize their own safety, and show respect for disaster victims. But I think it's a little extreme to question the priorities of those that would be OK with the Direct airing this week based on what little we actually know about the content, or whether it's indeed coming this week at all.
Assuming that the delays haven't led to a non-music update being slotted in for tonight.
Only one company set the precedent, not all the companies. You have to be trolling at this point.
All the companies are not just going to stop marketing for every natural disaster. Last week was a very special case.

ok ok except for those
Is this a cybersai alt? The way you randomly post the same thing over and over and are pretty transparent about your concern trolling is very reminiscent of him.
