it'll get a new one because it'll be delayed again
What will happen to this thread if the Direct isn't announced tomorrow morning?
They're FUCKING FANTASTIC dude. Play Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on the GBC.
The reason they are RPGs is because EA didn't care about the Game Boy Color and focused solely on the other platforms, giving the developers (Griptonite) free reign to do whatever they want. So without any publisher meddling they created two of the finest RPGs of that era.

Otter devastation. What will happen to this thread if the Direct isn't announced tomorrow morning?
Wow I'm sold. I have a GBC at my parents house, and will try and get Sorceror's Stone if I can find it.
Did they not perform well enough to continue on with the series? Or did the release of the DS change things?
This thread will move on to discussing the possibility of a Direct announcement happening on ThursdayWhat will happen to this thread if the Direct isn't announced tomorrow morning?
how the hell has Warner Brothers fucked up something as simple as a Harry Potter RPG with create-a-character.
I'm still yet to understand the origins of this Final Fantasy VII rumor.
This is sounds like that typical kind of thing that only makes people mad later because it turned out to be false.
And people getting mad because of something that never existed is a typical ERA reaction...
GameXplain and Jonneh was making more of just a fun observation.I'm still yet to understand the origins of this Final Fantasy VII rumor.

yep, I remember that vividly.Remember when people said $250 pricing was locked and walked away from their January Switch reveal event angry and disappointed?
FFVII is locked! :P
GameXplain and Jonneh was making more of just a fun observation.
Mario Party + Let's Go + Smash Ultimate = punch, kick, fireball combo
It was a GameXplain prediction by Jonneh who has inside information from time to time.I'm still yet to understand the origins of this Final Fantasy VII rumor.

What a silly way to deflect criticism.the people discussing that, exactly like those discussing the xenoblade 2 designs, were never interested in either of those games anyway, they're just kneejerking
So here's the story. Griptonite Games created two incredible JRPG-style Harry Potter games because they had free reign to do whatever they want: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone along with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for the GBC. The Chamber of Secrets GBC version was actually the very last GBC game ever released in the USA!
Afterwards EA took notice of the great sales and incredible support the GBC versions had, and decided to commission the same team that made the GBC versions to make the GBA version of Prisoners of Azkaban.
Unfortunately while the team tried their best, this time EA heavily meddled in the development of Prisoners of Azkaban for the GBA...and gave them a super limited deadline and a super tiny budget to complete the game along with cutting content and over-ruling them on many decisions. So while it's still good, it's nowhere near the level of brilliance of the predecessors thanks to EA.
Burnt out from the dreadful experience of trying to complete that game, the Griptonite team disbanded afterwards. They still made some incredible games like The Sims Bustin Out and Urbz: Sims in the City for the GBA, but they never had the chance to create a full-fledged RPG like that ever again.
It's really tragic the way that all unfolded. But those two games are still absolute gems and definitely worth your time. They're very underrated because they're licensed games and people tend to overlook them.
they usually announce it 24 before the direct
7.8 out of 10 too much owls.
I heard that game wasn't worth the time

Eh.What a silly way to deflect criticism.
Xenoblade 2 is a possibly top 10 of all time to me and my biggest complaint about it is the gross, trashy, character designs.
Funky Barn Switch confirmed.
It's a beautiful looking game but the gameplay is something you'll either love or hate.
imagine another week of this insanityOut of respect for the hurricane victims of the east coast they are delaying the direct another week.
