So based on the hints Imran said, it doesn't sound like the cut game would be SMTV would it? I kind of doubt it, but at the same time could see it from the angle of it just being another trailer and a release year, meaning it's not coming out in the near future and isn't "essential".
I will love you if you confirm there is a smash direct next month for us.
It's hard to predict but I would guess about 3-6 dogs, like Isabelle, Duck Hunt, maybe Digby, and another few dog characters from another games.

I hate to admit it but the Thursday rumour has me incredibly hyped for the Direct now. It may even be the best one for the Switch current lifetime. That's my hype level right now.
i'm very hyped too. i think them pushing it back so much with so many stuff getting announced/leaked is a sign that some truly hype shit is in the direct that we have no idea about.
Phew, at least we know that tomorrow they will finally announce this direct and we can all be happy and normal again and get hyped about such a mega direct with lots of awesome on thursday....

Hopefully other companies can hold of on announcing their stuff before the Direct goes up. While still nice.. I would have loved to see the Civ VI and Crystal Chronicles Remastered announcements in the Direct.
I think the best for the lifetime will probably be in 2019, maybe a January one.
This one will probably have remnants of stuff we already know about for 2018 - like Super Mario Party, Pokemon Let's Go. And will inevitably reveal a probably not-too-hype NSMBU port.
Of course, the Smash newcomer will be hype and there will be some surprises. But I think we'll see our best directs when next year kicks in with Prime, SMTV and Bayo ready to be seen, maybe the year after that when 3DS teams move to Switch and the 3D Mario and Zelda teams as well as Monolith are ready to show off their next projects
Oh boy just you wait for the all the posts trashing the Direct because it didn't live up to the hype or delay.
This will be the best Switch Direct since the console launched (speaking of only the general ones).
i had my brother record the sequence and then hold the brush button and play the video back. only for the one in the bottom of the well tho. it just was impossible.

100% agree. 2019 should be on par with 2017. Especially with the titles you mentioned.
1st party-wise. 3rd parties will elevate it to an exceptionnal year.
You better not be dissing Anniversary there, that game was awesome. I'd be Day One on a Switch port/remaster.
