Marvel's Spider-Man Spoiler Thread [MAJOR UNMARKED SPOILERS]

Maybe pull an Amazing Spider-Man 2 and have Norman get Dr. Connors working on a cure using Lizard DNA.
Daredevil gets a mention in the one of the backpack collectibles where he met Spidey at some point as Matt Murdock.
The PS1 Spider-Man has both of them showing up though.
If you read JMS you can probably stop once John Romita Jr. leaves after like #508 or whatever because that's when things get whack. But it easily has my favorite character work for Peter, MJ, and especially Aunt May. If you ever wanted to know why people make such a big deal about Peter and MJ being together his run is what really elevates it. And his Aunt May is by far the best version before or since.
I also recommend Roger Stern's run, from his Spectacular through his Amazing. Might be the actual best run on the character and feels surprisingly modern for something written in the early 80s.
Anyone else think it's weird that Spidey didn't hang onto the plans for the corrosive to free Rhino from his suit? I imagine that'd be useful in fighting him, especially since Rhino would probably let him use it since that's what he wants anyway.

One of Peter's backpacks has a vial of Lizard blood in it. He goes on to say how he saved Connors but Connors ended up going back to being Lizard man. Also the Halloween party has the scientist you're looking for dressed as the Lizard man.
I think there's like 3-4 shows where he's constantly mentioning it and it was hilarious every time.

Sure, but with Peter becoming the Man-Spider it would put Miles as the city´s super hero at the moment and it would be the ultimate test for him.
I doubt Insomniac and Marvel introduced him so early to have him act as a Spider Robin in the sequel. There´s going to be an event where he is the only Spider-Man and having him face Peter in the mutated state would be perfect

Also does anyone think that Insomniac may be creating an original symbiote for Harry? I mean he could just be the first host for Venom, but I was thinking they may make a green symbiote that looks like Lasher that is original to the PlayStation Spider-Man universe
Yeah, for modern stuff, Ultimate and the JMS run are the best imo. You'll love JMS run if you want to read stories about Peter AND Spidey.
Do you think the Peter turning into a Spider storyline could work? Maybe that could be a trigger to play as Miles while helping Peter and dealing with the city problems.
It was one of my favourites storylines in the 90's animated series.

And Peter just left him on top of Avengers Tower for who knows how many years.
I think Peter getting a full-time job would work instead. I think they did a decent job showing how he struggles with money atm but he was looking for a job in the ending. Since May is dead, he doesn't have someone to save him financially anymore. It would be pretty cool to see Miles pick up the slack.
They could always turn Peter into Carnage...again...and that'll be how the Venom symbiote gets spider powers.

More like Peter infected with symbiote. That would excuse Miles Spiderman gameplay quite nicely.
I was thinking that too. They set up Superior Spiderman really well with his whole "we need to help lesser people" thing too.
Basically how imagine sequel is:
- Main story -
- Act I - Goblin (Norman) terrorise the city when he's looking for cure
- Act II - Symbiote powered Harry (not quiet Venom yet) seeking revenge on Spider-man for stopping his father
- Act III - Symbiote goes on Peter, Miles-Spidey has to stop him
- Act IV - Pete and Miles aginst Venom.
-side story quests -
-each district will have multi-quest side story featuring cameos from street level heroes like Daredevil, Luke Cage or even Punisher (who will be more of a villian in his respective side story).
- Main story -

Yeah, the combination of Ock's body degrading, him already designing equipment for Spider-Man, and Ock's twisted form of the 'with great power comes great responsibility' thing makes me think they'll build up to that.
Superior Spiderman was also a Dan Slott creation and Dan Slott storyline, much like how Martin Li and Devil's Breath were Dan Slott creations that showed up in this game, which Dan Slott helped write.
