If true, I'm surprised they delayed the direct for one game instead of delaying reveal of just that game.
Plus we had a whole huge thread of people Goku-fying their avatars, he was the Ridley/K Rool of this direct.

Could be that I got this wrong but it seems like Nintendo Life, GameXplain and others have received an e-mail from Nintendo regarding the date of the next direct and Nintendo Life called that e-mail their "trusted source" or something, masking the embargo break as a rumor.
This thread was ruined the moment he clicked Post Reply sadly.
Seriously tho if there ever is a new one I would be there in a heartbeat. VFD was a amazing send-off of course but still.

1. Learn how to compose music
2. Get really good at it
3. Get hired by Japanese company to make music for their games
4. Become a fan favorite
5. Befriend whoever at Nintendo works on Smash
6. Get hired to arrange/compute some of the music tracks in Smash Infinite (the 8th one)
7. Legally change my name to Goku
So far I've only completed step 7

It is poor form and it is something I shouldn't have said, but it was rather annoying to see any outlet tease or report info under embargo in such a way. Numerous outlets could have reported the same information but followed the rules.

If we got a female FF character it would be Terra with a Celes echo, I would take no other substitutes.

As much as Lightning gets put on a pedestal here, I think that Terra would be the final answer. Or Celes. Or just Echo her.
