Initially I was expectant of a weekend Direct given the potential of Famitsu leakage but since that didn't turn out to be the case then yeah, a full week delay makes sense. I figured it'd be Wednesday at first but given that the Apple conference is then, makes sense why they'd want to avoid it.
As I mentioned earlier in the thread, didn't someone mention that the last time there was a famitsu clash most of the direct wasn't in it anyway either? They went back and checked and it was only a few minor details.

Nintendo Life's pattern is a carbon copy of last week. I'm starting to think it's part of Nintendo's marketing plan for the Direct.
