But seriously thinking about it, there has been several third party announcements for the last few months for Switch;

Grandia 1 & 2 HD Remaster
Saints Row the Third
Diablo III Eternal Collection
Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered
Onimusha Warlords Remastered
Civilization VI

Nintendo fans have had it worse in regards to announcements.

Yeah, there's a lot of stuff there I'm looking forward to, like Crystal Chronicles and Grandia. Also excited for The Ninja Warriors Once Again.

So I've never played Persona. Which one should get ported to Switch first? P4 Golden or p5?

That's your mistake. For thinking for I'm cool

In all honesty, that's the big issue I had with her. Her lack of screentime and time to develop chemistry with the others was so bad that I honestly forgot her name by the end of the game

Haru existence already is justified with the best confidant of the girls on the game. Much like her design and personality as well as her story with her father and fiancé about sexism. So even with less screentime than I wanted, she's still my favorite along Makoto. Ann is my last one. Not that I dislike her.

Man I just want another Ocarina/Wind Waker-style Zelda with a focus on puzzles. I have an itch and BotW did the exact opposite of scratch it.

And so did Link's Crossbow Training, but by "Zelda game" I didn't literally mean "a game set in the Zelda universe". :)
To be fair, Triforce Heroes is considered mainline, Crossbow Training isn't.

Same. I need my indiana jones dungeons full of puzzles and cool gimmicks. Skyward Sword was so long ago!

Persona 5: "we took out the trash dungeons and the okay combat system out of the game because people are in it for the waifus anyway" Edition coming to Switch in 2019

Well we did get plenty of those so we certainly aren't lacking in that regard. I don't disagree because I do love those elements of Zelda as well and want them in the next Zelda game but I'm happy that they also took a huge risk and went in a completely new direction

This can apply to a 3D Zelda or a 2D one. I want Link to travel to a strange land. The land can have a connection to Hyrule and its characters, but that's not a must. Kinda similar to how Link travels to Termina or the lands in the Oracle/Awakening games.

That's it. Take it from there. Nice dungeons, classic Zelda progression in the vein of the Oracle/Awakening/ALTTP/Minish Cap, and a lot of enemy types.

Well I got the 1st and 2nd with BotW ;)

Even if the dungeons are weaker than traditional Zelda dungeons
I just want every dungeon to be the Forest Temple from now on. Literally copy and paste it for every dungeon in all Zelda games moving forward.

No, I don't actually want that, but I did miss "traditional" dungeons from the older Zelda games. I'm curious to see how they would work in a more open-ended Zelda like BotW.

Hey, I don't disagree. I certainly hope that the next Zelda can have the right balance between the tightly designed almost maze-like older Zelda dungeons and the more free and open Zelda dungeons. I also hope they go back to a creepier atmosphere for that, to make me feel dread

ok people, it was fun while it lasted, lets listen to the mods and keep it civil.

With that said, I propose something if I might, can we talk about our favorite directs or the ones that surprised/dissapointed us the most? for me it was this year's direct that had smash out of nowhere, that was epic,

My issue is that I'm sick to death of open world WRPGs. BotW is just another on the pile. If its follow-up can at least tone down or remove the worst of the RPG elements, I might like it more.

Yeah, the "traditional formula" is tired out as hell. Develop the BotW formula, flesh it out with better dungeons and underground areas, and I guarantee most complaints about it go away.
There are two billion open world AAA games releasing everytime (it's basically almost every AAA game). Making a 2D game more traditional for fans wanting for a game like that since 2011 isn't a big deal.

You mean the first one with the Splattoon bait and switch? That wasn't bad, but I much prefer the other two.

My favourite is also the Smash one with the Splatoon reveal, simply because it restarted the Smash hype in a really effective way.
