Lethal League was so fun. Me and my mates played so much of it when one of them moved into a house with his girlfriend as we would all visit every weekend. So much lethal league. So much salt.

Dang. I've always seen Lethal League as an unofficial spin-off of the Jet Set Radio series since the art direction of it certainly is inspired by those games and low and behold, they get the man behind the JSR music into this. Great stuff!

Soundtrack is amazing. I'm planning to buy the game solely for the local co-op goodness. But after hearing the soundtracks, dang. This is going to be good!

God that soundtrack is fucking AMAZING already in just the trailer. Not like I'd have doubted him.

The original game already had a superb ost, so I'm excited to see what Naganuma would come out with this title

Lethal League is a goddamn amazing game with a superb soundtrack. It's a tragedy that it isn't more well known.

This would be great on switch, and I don't even own one. Strikes me as a perfect game for the platform.

Oh wow. Feel like I've seen this early on, or something very similar, but the composer puts it over the top.

In for Switch, barring performance issues.

That song is hype, and Lethal League 1 was always so fun to watch.

... but I have to say, what's with the weird animation frames on the characters? Why did that rotation look a bit janky? I guess they only had one set of animation for the game and didn't have a separate, smoother set for the trailer.

Well, if they're doing another Limited Run, they better do another CD release of the soundtrack now.

I was excited for this game before, but they got Naganuma? Damn. It's such a perfect pairing too.

It's probably intentional, sadly. It's emulating how the characters moved in the first Lethal Leauge (2D sprites based on 3D models > 3D models in a 3D engine with animation frames missing), in the same way that GGXrd does.

I'm not a fan of doing it that way either. Especially when, as we can see with the background characters in the trailer, the game could look even better/smoother. This smooth.

Why some devs keep doing choppy animation on purpose, I have no idea.

All that aside, the game has an amazing aesthetic, solid looking gameplay, and the fact that Naganuma's supplying some tracks elevates it tremendously.
