My problem, Asshole, is that you purposely posted the gif without context spawning a shit-ton of hate and hot takes for pages and pages. Even when it's pointed out to you, you refuse to edit the context in.
You knew exactly what you were doing, especially in a thread like this, and that just makes it worse. But the crazy part is that I'm the one about to get warned for calling you out, and you'll get away with your garbage post, but boy do I mean it when I say you're a fucking moron.
6% isn't exactly a huge disparity. Neither have all the reviews up yet in any case.
just seen a few comments on a review posted on FB and people are more worried about what it scores overall Vs Spiderman than what the review says or anything about the game.

Because it splits the reviews by the platform they reviewed it on. So both PS4 and Xbox page are missing tons of reviews. Opencritic has them all added up on page.

There's no point in looking at the MC score atm when it has like 20 reviews less than OC. Give it some time. It seems it will end up around 80 or so.
Because you posted it like it was from the retail build or a review vid. Not saying it was from a old build from Gamescom. And you saw the reaction people had because they think its from the retail version.

The Hitman 2 review thread in November is going to be an absolute shitshow when you consider the most beloved game in the entire series...
I hate to say this, but this is why so many modern AAA games are super homogenized. It's not good enough to get heaps of 9/10 scores and a sprinkling of less flattering ones. Your game doesn't have the freedom to make divisive creative choices. The divisive Hitman: Absolution scored three points lower (79 to Blood Money's 82), and people went crazy because scoring three points lower than one of the most beloved stealth games of all time marked it as complete trash.

Your game doesn't have the freedom to make divisive creative choices. The divisive Hitman: Absolution scored three points lower (79 to Blood Money's 82), and people went crazy because scoring three points lower than one of the most beloved stealth games of all time marked it as complete trash.
Easy Allies giving this an 8.5 is what really shocks and encourages me. They seemed so down on the game and an 8.5 means it's surprisingly good.

Yep, I really think that the obsession with other people's gaming scores is a very bad thing for video games. It looks to be around an 80 Metacritic when averaged across all reviews which isn't terribly surprising and means that it should be a really fun great looking game, especially for those who enjoyed the first one. Spider-Man has an 87 on Metacritic which is deserved based on the fun playthrough that I am currently going through, but there shouldn't be any direct tie between the two for only a 7/100 point difference across many reviews.

Square is always weird with this shit. People got DQ really late, some people got digital, some physical, some still haven't gotten a review copy.
No it has more reviews attached to it than the xbox MC page
no modern game to my knowledge has that problem of being reviewed bad on one platform and good on another it's just MC being inferior to open critic

Big TR fan so it was just a matter whether the game was broken or buggy so all in. My only concern are "extended" underwater sequences – it's on my list of shit I hate to see in games but I'll deal with it. Other than that I like they aren't straying too far from the other games.

to be fair absolution being complete trash marked the game as complete trash. reviews had very little to do with it. more the linear gameplay structure which was new (and worse)
I died via flesh eating fish a couple times when I wasn't really paying attention. But I would never call them insta fail. But that is just my experience.
The score isn't too high but high 70's doesn't make it a bad game, it's a good game with a lot of flaws.
It's so disappointing to see members on other forums tear into certain reviewers, literally labelling them racist, for daring to point out the problematic pitfalls of this game.
