I beat the game last night (this morning technically?) and I really liked it. I think.
It's up there with Persona 5 as a game that I think is fucking amazing and absolutely horrible at the same time. It's a complicated dynamic that not many games that I play manage to get. It goes from "This might be one of the best games I've ever played in my life!" to "I never want to play this awful game ever again" so quickly it gives me whiplash. They got so much right and so much wrong. That being said, they have a nice ground work for a sequel, so hopefully they'll be able to improve on certain things.
Suits were beautiful, combat was mostly fine, traversal was spectacular. Encounter diversity needed a lot of work. Sidequests could have been so much better. That Black Cat stuff was silly too with the knowledge that the conclusion is DLC that you have to pay for lol. But I guess that's how it is now.
I don't know... I need to think about the game some more.
