I remember this heartwarming story. She seems really cool. I hope to still be gaming enthusiastically at that age.

She's such a lovely lady, love watching her videos. The reason the Internet hasnth ruined this is because even the shitheads that are usually responsible for that think she's cool as hell.

As said in the OP link she started playing games since she was over 60 years old (when her son gave her his copy of Civilisation II in the 1990s), not since the inception of games.
Also this seems left field because YouTube channels held by 82-year-old grandmas are, believe it or not, very rare.
Known about her for a while. I'm subbed to her even though I have little interest in what she plays. Every few months I just like to watch a video of hers since its so wholesome and comfy.
She is such a delight and enormous energy of joy and happiness... I feel good just watching her playing :-)))
I follow her on Twitter, which has recently introduced Nike burning videos into my timeline because she smashed that Like button.
