No More Robots announce Family Man from Broken Bear Games (Steam, PS4, XB1, NSw)

This is from late August but I don't think any one here posted it (I searched to no avail).

I've loved the first two games published by No More Robots (Descenders/Not Tonight) and am looking forward to seeing what Hypnospace Outlaw is all about so I can't help but keep an eye on this as well.

You owe money to the mob, and you've got 30 days to pay it back. Will you flip burgers and earn an honest living while scrapping the money together... or will you take on some dirty jobs for more cash, but potentially push your family away?

Every decision you make not only affects the neighborhood, but directly affects your family. Your choices impact how your family sees you, and can lead to your household becoming stronger than ever... or the breakdown of your marriage and relationship with your son.

It's your life: Decide how you want to deal with each situation that arises

Moral compass: Earn cash the hard (legal) way, or break a few rules here or there

For the sake of your family: Every choice you make affects your family

Build relationships: Unlock bonuses for every person you help (or hinder)

Developed by Broken Bear Games and Published by No More Robots.

Looks like it is planned for early 2019 on Steam, PS4, XB1 and the Switch. Beta sign up is here (Steam).

Could be fun.

Thanks for putting this on my radar, No More Robots is an amazing publisher doing the things in a good way, so any game that they release deserves my attention.

I'm super hyped with 'Hypnospace Outlaw'. They really have a fine-tuned radar for curating and producing great indie games.

Hello, thanks so much for the thread! This is going to sound really lame, but when I started No More Robots a year ago, I literally had on my list of goals "Have a Resetera thread where people comment on the quality of No More Robots titles" (well, it said "have a NeoGAF thread", but things have changed a lot since last summer haha).

So this post has genuinely made me very happy, and I'm glad to hear you guys appreciate what we're trying to do :) Expect many more weird and wonderful things coming in the future too!
