I liked the idea of code breaking to go back in level to kill high ranking nazi in The New Colossus, but it got dull fast; lots of room to improve of that idea to make the game challenging and fun, just look at Hitman's elusive target for example

Wolf 3 has a lot to prove. TNC is one of the worst built games I've ever played this generation.

I'm not sure why they're looking for monetization experience from a game designer. Designers are more likely to come up with the worst monetization schemes because they're interested in gameplay and balance. Most studios have dedicated monetization specialists.

We are never getting Wolf 3 are we?

There's a pretty good chance that Youngblood will be used to end the series. TNC sold far below expectations and Bethesda has a history of using expansion packs to close out series that aren't profitable enough to warrant another full sequel (see Dishonored: Death of the Outsider). The giant time lapse between TNC and Youngblood also makes much more sense if Youngblood is the finale.

In the event that we do get a proper Wolfenstein 3, it will likely be open-world. Sadly, Bethesda's attempts with traditional, linear single-player games haven't produced the results they're looking for.

Thinking about a more narrative-based quest-based game created by the people who made the two recent Wolfestein games sounds incredible.

Can't wait to see what they do with this.

A more developed version of Wolfenstein 2009's hub world and side missions would own if this is possibly for another Wolfenstein game.

Play Wolf 1 if you haven't already. That game is fantastic. I unironically called it the greatest FPS campaign I'd ever played once.

Wolf 2 is a little more of a mixed bag. I still liked it, but it is definitely worse (and less inspired) than the original. Pick it up on sale and turn the difficulty all the way down.

Have you played the first game? New Order is fantastic. The New Colossus was a gigantic step down unfortunately, but I heard they patched the terrible hit markers and fixed up some of the enemy layouts to coincide with the polish sweep that the Switch version got, so that might be enough to make it playable if you have low standards I suppose.

Just don't play on a higher difficulty level, I played TNC on the second hardest difficulty and it was a complete disaster. I've completed and enjoyed the New Order on its hardest difficulty but TNC has a ton of encounters that are just flat out not designed well.

Quest designer and lore stuff isn't concerning, live ops is though. Praying it's just for multi :/
I'm curious to see what they're doing for Rage 2, since I believe it's the first time Bethesda has explicitly pitched a game without multiplayer as a games as a service title, so it could give us a sense of what they're thinking along those lines, and if it's actually meaningfully different from just dumping out DLC.
