I came here to post this. I downloaded the patch, however the game is also installing, or should I say 'copying' which is taking ages as you mentioned.
I tried restarting my PS4, then it started to re download the patch again and install( copy) the game from scratch!.
No. The first part alone makes it a no. It's very Spider-Man.

Well it's mostly Spider-Man's incessantly chatty nature that I don't care for. Also, not a huge fan of Peter Parker.
I also dislike old Assassin's Creed games because of their shallow side "quest".
So here's the thing. (and it's not really the game's fault) But playing this did set off my Epilepsy (i didn't have a fit. Just made me feel funny) a weee bit. So i had to stop playing after just about under 3 hours. :(

It's a Spider-Man game. He talks quite a bit. If you don't like Spider-Man, this game will not change your mind.

I just played this game for eleven hours straight and it's your fault.
I think a prerequisite for buying Spider-Man is liking Spider-Man
Also, the side content is pretty much the only negative that is fairly consistently called out as a weak point for the game, so it's safe to say that you should probably sit this one out

There was around like 30-40 total (People who left before/arrived afterwards) when I went with my brother to get his copy; and some people were there for an NBA release. I'm sure someone will correct me.
Can't wait for my copy to arrive tomorrow from Amazon. I was super tempted to get my own tonight.
