Free money, why make it Switch exclusive. Since they have decided to not even make it mobile exclusive by moving it to home consoles.
I believe it is just cutscenes and some battling. No exploration at all.Does the Pocket Edition have everything the normal FFXV game has?
First mainline FF game since VI!
But why not on Steam though :(
I guess I'll get it on PS4.
It says you get to drive the Regalia though.I believe it is just cutscenes and some battling. No exploration at all.
Wtf. Why the hell would I want that then if there's no exploration.I believe it is just cutscenes and some battling. No exploration at all.
I don't understand why you'd count this as a mainline game, but not the handheld versions like Dawn of Souls or whatever, which are way more faithful.Fun fact this will be the first ever mainline Final Fantasy game to come to a Nintendo console in the PAL regions (outside of Virtual Console stuff). We got Mystic Quest, a bunch of handheld ports, Explorers, a music game, 4 Heroes of Light and all the Crystal Chronicles but no mainline Final Fantasy games on Nintendo consoles for Australian Nintendo fans.
Does it? Maybe it's like when FFXV firat came out and you can't get off the road and it's basically on auto-pilot
why would you choose this over the original FFXV? :/First mainline FF game since VI!
What a feat.
lmao
But why not on Steam though :(
I guess I'll get it on PS4.
A RPG isn't worth 20 dollars?I mean, I'm glad this port exists, I'd hate to see a unique version of the game locked to mobile, but uhh, wow, that pricing.
Switch version isn't available yet.so the ps4 and xbox one versions are on sale? how about the switch version?
It's like Crystal Chronicles all over again.Final Fantasy... BACK on Nintendo systems ahhhhh... pocket edition... FUCK :P
There were 6 mainline FF games on Nintendo consoles
I said console though so not counting handheld ports like those.I don't understand why you'd count this as a mainline game, but not the handheld versions like Dawn of Souls or whatever, which are way more faithful.
Probably after the Nintendo Direct airs.
Both looks pretty bleh tbfI've always been interested in the Pocket Edition. I would have bought it on my phone except S-E didn't release it on the Singapore Google Play Store for some reason even though they have everything else here. It looked far more interesting than the base XV game to me, and I wanted to play it on the go. This seems perfect for the Switch!
It is what it is. At least Switch (or rather, Nintendo-only) owners will get to experience the journey and story of FFXV.
Who the fuck is gonna buy this? I'm insulted that SE even thought this was a good idea.
To be fair it's a decent idea for mobile and the switch which obviously were out of the question for FFXV proper, it's just the execution that's pretty poor.Who the fuck is gonna buy this? I'm insulted that SE even thought this was a good idea.
There's no reason they wouldn't offer the same launch discount on Switch as they are the other versions.Switch better have a launch price of $17.99, would be ridiculous if they kept it at $29.99
Switch owners who want to play FFXV but have no means of playing the actual non-fugly version.
Not everyone is as down on XV as you are. Contrary to what you vocal minority like people to think, XV was a well received game.I'd be shocked if they're gonna pay $30 to experience the cheap ugly mobile port of a 0/10 story?
