Im honestly surprised they havent announced a replacement date. Its been more than 12 hours since the delay, and they must realize the sooner the better for getting this direct out. So much is affected, with 3rd parties, marketing, and other issues pushed up.

Then again, this has never happened before in the history of Directs. Not sure what to expect.

I feel you on this fully, but I don't think people are going out their way to ignore what happened in Japan. At least, it doesn't seem like anyone here has any malicious intents to do such, however I agree that it is weird. I also think people are just trying to have fun and kill time till something magically happens. Once again though, I absolutely see your POV

What's the one announced game (other than Smash) that you expect to be in this Direct that you look forward to more information on?

For me it's gotta be Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I doubt it will get an exact release date just yet, but I would like to see a second trailer with some more elaborate story details.

If this counts, I also kind of expect MK8D DLC to launch near NSO, I would love two new cups.

A major earthquake happened and many people are still without power. 12 hours isn't that long and there are more important things than videogames. You can wait a little while longer.

Since this has never happened before, it occurs to me now that the wait for them to announce the rescheduled date is ten times more painful than waiting for them to announce a direct to begin with.

Pretty difficult to limit it to one. Fire Emblem, probably. I want to know about the hub world as well as the battle mechanics. New music too. The song in the E3 trailer is excellent.

I'll agree with you on Fire Emblem. That first trailer gave us a good surface level look at the game, but I'm dying to get some more in depth details.

From the Nintendo side everything got locked down (as expected). No firmware update, nothing new to be downloaded on the eShop or making it to the Coming Soon section.

Yeah I think we underestimated how well Nintendo is at locking everything down when they need to lol. No company is as good as preventing leaks as they are

It's Fire Emblem for me too. I expect it to show up in the first half of next year so I do think it'll be in the Direct, though I don't know how long they'd spend on it. I'd like to see more on how the army formations work in terms of combat, personally.

I mean, that's what they have been doing for 14 hours non stop now. They have been working like crazy because of that. They don't deserve that shit start to leak. Nothing will leak. People will respect that and companies don't want to get blacklisted.

I joked about it before, but I would honestly like to see what else they're going to put in Super Mario Party. Maybe reveal some boards, spaces, characters, and so forth.

Sure. Never said I couldn't wait. Said I'm surprised that they haven't announced a replacement date yet. Lack of information creates speculation and speculation creates a multitude of whispers. As seen here. :)

I'd argue that giving out information would calm down an excitable fanbase. Didn't infer anything more than that.

Yeah, you can imagine the stress of having your country hit by two natural disasters in a row, plus them working overtime and coordinating with dozens, if not more, parties, companies, and subsidiaries around the world to try and prevent the leaks from happening.
Mad respect to them for how they have handled this situation on every front.

Nailed it. I also want to see if the graphics have improved since the E3 trailer. Big concern of mine there.

It's not happening this week dude. And I'm sure they're communicating with the 3rd parties you're so worried about. As always, we'll be the last to know.

Maybe they are waiting to get a clearer picture of the damage done by earthquake? What happens if it is taking longer to restore power to all those homes? What if more people have died than currently known? 12 hours is not a lot if time. There are more important things to consider than the impatience of people on a message board. They should be at the bottom of the priority list.

Fire Emblem for me too. I doubt we'll get more than a minute long teaser, but I'm still going to love it. (Unless they introduce another Camilla/ Tharja in it. That'd just be Disgusting.)
