I've been inspired by this article
https://www.nintendoenthusiast.com/...ly-need-these-collections-on-nintendo-switch/

Years ago Nintendo released a zelda collectors edition on GC.
I've realized that that disk is over 15 years old.

https://www.lukiegames.com/Zelda-4-...guD6N7ApbxhGjnTIM8s06Wx05SlSQTfhoCvIkQAvD_BwE

Since this disc was released we have had close to 10 zelda games.

Phantom hourglass
Spirit tracks
ALBTW
Triforce heroes
Twilight princess
SS
BOTW

This doesnt include the work done on TO HD or the Orcarina of time remake.

What do we want?

1. A full updated zelda collection with some tweaked DS/3ds games and HD remasters of older games.

2. The entire collection in an embossed or steel set all released at the same time for $200

3. All of the older or DS versions of the game sold in the collection set or separately for $60.

4. TP HD Deluxe, WW HD deluxe, SS HD, OOT, and MM, HD all sold separately at retail for $60 each or in the collectors set.
.
I want every Zelda ever made available to me in a glorious HD collection.

Please Nintendo take my money.

What do you guys think? Is it time for a Nintendo collection. Would you pay $200 or more for a set?

100% never going to happen. Nintendo never does collections of the whole series, not even for anniversaries.

Collection? More like they'll sell Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD again at full price

$60 for TP & WW remake, + maybe ports of the portable games, including 3DS versions of OOT and MM, I guess

When was the last time Nintendo did a collection? Metroid prime trilogy? Before that super mario all stars?

Not happening.

Only likely scenario is DS zeldas ported to 3ds.

Never going to happen. They make more money releasing them as standalone digital titles.

I'm not a leaker but wait the Direct first. Nintendo might announce something Zelda related.

The days of Nintendo releasing console collections are long over. Especially when they can sell the games for $8 a pop.

I'd be happy with either Twilight Princess or Wind Walker HD. Really want to replay those but not enough to buy a wii-U

The Nintendo that released the collector's edition was before the game industry realised you could resell old games as remasters for a significant chunk of change. A collection won't be happening again, unfortunately.

Would be cool if Nintendo decided to make Zelda collections based on the timeline splits.

Hahaha

They don't even do collections outside of NES games. Good fucking luck, you're gonna pay full price for each game.

I see someone on this forum say they'd pay $60 for an old Zelda port at least once a week, it's weird. Stop opening your butt cheeks to get fucked you weirdos.

What? Why would you even suggest that?

I will buy a full collection for the full price of $60. That's hefty enough.

For individual titles I might be willing to go up to $20, but would probably aim for $10. These are old ass games I've already paid for in the past.

To get
1. All of the oh Zeldas.
2. All of the DS/3ds games
3. HD remakes of all of the 3d zeldas
All in one boxed and decorated set for $199

That's not a bad deal.

Collection? That will never happen.
Maybe individual releases at $40/$60, that's the best we can expect from Nintendo.

Can't imagine why Nintendo would sell a Zelda collection when they had no issue selling Wind Waker HD and Twlight Princess HD separately.

For Phantom Hourglass & Spirit Tracks, I couldn't imagine playing that with an onscreen pointer...gross.

Maybe for a deluxe collection that includes statues and stuff. For a standard collection, $60 is the absolute max.

Man I hate it when fans volunteer for Nintendo to overcharge them. They're a giant mega-corporation, they don't need charity.

I'm not going to lie, I would be more willing to give Phantom hourglass and Spirit tracks another shot in a Switch collection.

Plus we mustn't forget, Nintendo was panicking at that point and trying desperately to convince gamers who wanted a mature Zelda like OOT that WW was worth it. They were desperate to create positive mind share around the GC at the time as the Xbox was slowly inching ahead of them.

I prefer to play the three GB/C Zeldas and Minish Cap on the inevitable handheld classic mini line with a proper d-pad and on the original hardware without saving issues due to batteries dying.

I would love it if Nintendo released these games for the Switch one way or another.

Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD are a must. I would also love Skyward Sword. That game needs more love and doesn't deserve to die.

Stupid question, but isn't it true that the Switch joy-cons are, by themselves, far better at motion sensitivity than the Wii remote +'s are?

This way they could do something like Skyward Sword with ease.

Over the life of the system I think we'll get:

The Legend of Zelda (NES Online)
Adventure of Link (NES Online)
A Link to the Past (Super NES Online)
Link's Awakening DX (Game Boy Online)
Oracle of Ages (Game Boy Online)
Oracle of Seasons (Game Boy Online)
The Minish Cap (Game Boy Advance Online)
Ocarina of Time (Nintendo 64 Online)
Majora's Mask (Nintendo 64 Online)
The Wind Waker HD (full price port)
Twilight Princess HD (full price port)

None of the DS, 3DS or Wii games though.

I've love if Nintendo placed all Zelda games on the Switch. However, I don't ever see it happening. I'd pay good money to have them all in a collection. However, I know we'll probably just end up getting full price individual ports :-/
