This is just this administration's way of getting revenge for the public shaming of various officials that have been harassed in restaurants.

Of course, what they fail to realize is that the previous events were people independently deciding to voice their opinion to government officials. This is state-sponsored harassment of the press.

It won't change anything, but it just re-enforces the callousness of Trump and his administration.

I agree with your assessment of the Pauls, and I really find your theory of Ron Paul being the 'beta test' for the Russian propaganda/influence/cyberwarfare machine to be very interesting and quite plausible. I've thought both the Paul's have been suspicious for a long time, and I can see similarities with how Ron Paul was projected and received and how the 2016 election went for Trump, and to a lesser extent Jill Stein and Bernie.

It's disturbing behaviour, whether or not it fits the definition of that one new word.

Well sonny when I was growing up we identified who we were by the products we consumed.

For example I was a Nintendo and Star Wars kid (in other works an intellectual with great taste). And people would agree over common sense shit (ie Russia was bad, transformers were the best, etc).. You also didn't have to worry about getting shot because you left your house.
