Any that are recommended? Never bought an ACA before but have meant to.
Metal Slug for sure.

If you like fighting vs games or arcade football games check out Samurai Shodown and Super Sidekick.
The problem with Samurai Shodown is that Samurai Shodown 2 and Samurai Shodown IV are preferable.
Alpha Mission II is a vertical shmups with a kicking ass OST but there are probably better shmups on eshop (and Neo Geo too).

Cool, might pick it up still just to have something to test the Flip Grip with when it arrives eventually.

I saw the thread and my immediate hope was I'd see Garou on the list.

Ah well, that's a great price for Metal Slug. I'm also kind of tempted by King of the Monsters. I had that on the SNES.

Ooh, I'll get Metal Slug and one of the fighting games. But which one?

With only a few of the Neo Geo games on sale (we have the same selection in the UK) I'm hoping the rest will go on sale over the next couple of weeks!

For some reason, Neo Turf Masters has been tempting me for a long time!

Man, I really hate their web store. I had to leave that page to change region and then couldn't find a way back. Things were disorganized, not included on the deals page, etc. Ugh.

Metal Slug, ASO 2 and KoF 94 are the only worthwhile ones

Puzzled is fun but there are better puzzling/tetris games on Switch tbh

Samurai Shodown 1 is legendary. Super Sidekicks 1 cannot be missed, especially for 2 players. Actually, all of these games are fantastic and more than worth the asking price.

It is ridiculous that you have to buy games one at a time, and even if you choose to continue shopping it just takes you back to the home page.

At least they nailed their PayPal integration. And it's nice that there is an easy to understand reward system.

Thanks for the heads-up. Might grab King of the Monsters for nostalgia's sake. One of my favs at the arcade during summers.

Which Super Sidekicks is the best in the series?

I disagree because SamSho 2 nullifies SamSho and SSK2 is so much better than SSK it's not even funny

Seeing how SamSho 2 and SSK2 are on the eShop, may as well get those

KoF is interesting because it doesn't have the exact same roster as KoF 95 and KoF 96 nor is it part of either of them (as in, all of KoF 94'S characters are in either game)

I will probably pick up Metal Slug, Samurai Shodown and Alpah Mission II.
Maybe Art of Fighting too.
AoF was always the weird SNK fighting series but it was very original when it came out in 1992 (it introduced desperation moves, zoom in/zoom out, visible damage, spirit gauge and taunting).
It's just that doesn't try to play like SF2 at all, it always gave me more the impression of a 1 vs 1 beat em up.

I think some of these went on sale last week. Also, some were on sale on XB1. Not sure if they still are.

How is king of the monsters?

A pretty great game at the time. Now? The arcade-y nature might hold it back some (Mashing buttons to win a hold feels almost random at times), but it's still a fun adventure to run through. Playing local Co-Op VS other monsters was great, and the animations and city destruction are full of personality and polish. The challenge in "Caravan Mode" should be pretty fun for this, I'd imagine.

War of the Monsters on PS2 was similar to it, if you played that. There's really only a handful of similar games (and it's own sequel is one), so it's worth checking out if you can appreciate that.

Samurai Shodown and KoF 94 are beauties as far as fighters go but tbh most titles in this catalog all look trash on HD tvs and even more at these massive resolutions we are pushing. Especially without any scaliness.

Samurai Shodown looks fine on the Switch screen (with the scanline option).
I actually don't like KoF 94 graphics due to the use of dithering.
KoF 95 looks much better (some of the best backgrounds in the whole series IMO).

The same lame sell that happened like 2 weeks ago on the xbox one. I picked up Burning fight and Alpha Mission. They are fun, i already had most of the other titles.

I want to have ALL the games under the ACA NEOGEO label and this sale was really disappointing.
