I've not even had that, although Playtonic replied very quickly and said I was on the list. I've emailed LRG too, so fingers and claws crossed.
I wonder how substantial the CE discount will be.
Anybody back at the n64 level and not getting this? they seem to think not all n64 backers will buy the ce.
I didn't back it, but I wish I could also get the special packaging they will :x

Splitting up the PS4 games sucks - now I get to pay for shipping twice!
Got my N64 code an hour ago, the codes are valid until Sunday.
Sounds like the remaining stock will be sold after the Sunday deadline, you might be able to get one that way.

Successfully ordered my backers CE edition. My first LRG purchase. Shame there is no option for a PAL edition.

I think so. The email contains a link to the N64 variant preorder and a unique code that gives you the backer discount (the game is listed separately for $249.99 right now on their store).
It also includes a 10% discount code for the standard edition and the CE that you can use once the game is up on Friday. I think this will be the same discount code for all KS backers.

Looks like the CE variant only shows up through that link, since I don't see it on the main store. Got a pic? Curious what it looks like.
As for the email, I got the email that was telling backers about the deal. At least one other person on the KS comments was asking about ut tonight, too.
Couldn't bite on Yooka-Laylee at that price. I think I already have it on Steam and PS4, and it's just too expensive with the Switch and LRG physical taxes added on.
Shows how different collectors value different things. I had a couple of those non-functioning display carts and tossed them. The whole idea seems s strange to me.
Looks like I paid $30 on Steam and $40 on PS4, but that was a year and a half, 2 years ago. So I guess the price isn't too horrible in that context, it's just an old game.
I have no idea if I had an unintentional full set of their Swith games going, but this would put an end to that.

If it's for the standard edition, I'd like it, if possible.
Those emails were all sent out yesterday, I believe they're tied to one of the Kickstarter updates. I would recommend double checking your spam folder in case it was filtered out, otherwise if you'll contact support with the email you used on Kickstarter I'll see if there's anyway for us to pull that info

Got YL standard (with my brother's backer coupon) and Narcosis because it looked neat.
Skipping S&S next week in lieu of the Switch release, on the fence with Furi because I didn't care for it the first time I played it and I own it on PS4... but Switch... Hope they announce the late September title soon.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but Best Buy will be getting Switch Yooka Laylee and maybe other games.

Good grief, that thread.. the real takeaway there is that LRG is looking to put Best-Buy-specific LRG numbered releases on their shelves. And it sounds like they might be some of the same games that get released with different covers or whatever on the LRG site.
imo i don't really like how LRG handles the code stuff
i remember with Stranger's Wrath and the cards, they could've delayed it being sent out like they usually do now but instead they gave us a code to get the cards seperate, only problem was like only 2-3 games came out within the month period for the code and i only had a small interest in 1 of those games meaning i could've missed out
edit: i was wrong, there were 8 games in the period but i only had interest in 1 or maybe 2 of them

I'm all for Best Buy carrying LRG releases. I'd be very happy to get free shipping, 20% off, Reward Points, and discounts when they go on sale/clearance.

Well, the 20% is only as good until your GCU expires (mine is up in a few months...) They also mentioned that they are willing to send prints of the unique cover arts for those that already bought online. I'm down for that option!
Apples and oranges. They haven't removed any games from being eligible for the 20% off, even expensive Collector's Editions or super limited items like the Breath of the Wild Master Edition. I got mine for 20% off there. They wouldn't do that for LRG releases.
Not that I doubt your words but we'll see how this all plays out eventually.
Gamers Club United is not available to Canadians. Best Buy Canada has seen better days though, when it comes videogame deals.
I didn't mean GCU, that's why I said "Best Buy" as we also have Best Buy in Canada. I'm just wanting to know if LRG would also be available in Canada.
