I thought Yooka-Laylee was going to be just a standard release. Has there been a Switch game so far without a Collector's Edition?

Only "Oxenfree", hence the CE fatigue.

On a related matter, as much as I hate to say it, but that "Salt & Sanctuary" CE for PS4/PSV really has knock my socks off with awesome content for a spectacular price so I just won't opt for the pretty nice standard retail Switch release. We shall see.

Updated the opening post with the latest schedule, expanded upcoming release list, and the latest counts for non-Nintendo titles and various collector's editions. Our Discord server now features an upcoming release channel that includes other niche releases outside of Limited Run for reference, too! Our automated bot reminders are still being fleshed out on a technical level, but they're being fairly consist thus far and help for those wanting a heads-up for game releases and last calls for pre-order listings!

That N64 box and cartridge are pretty rad.

Price makes it a pass though. It's exciting but not $100 CAD exciting.

Nice! Guess I'll be checking my email for that code. Would it get added in during check out or when adding to cart? I go through so fast so I never noticed.

Hmm. Looks like I'll be going for the standard, though I'll probably grab it whenever I can bundle it with something else. Hoping to hear some more news about September releases soon.

Pretty disappointed with the yooka-laylee special edition, $35 extra for a cardboard box, cd, poster and a plastic cartridge shell, if it had a plushie/statue or a hardcover art book it would be much better. Will stick to the regular edition.

Pulling out all the stops to make that regular edition price acceptable.

It's only 25 USD more. The game itself is at a hefty price of 50 USD, the CE is 75 USD.

As a backer of the Kickstarter, it's nice to hear we get a discount code. Yooka Laylee was a disappointment in many ways for me as a backer and to pay again 50 USD would have been hard for me.

Edit: oh wait, the discount code will only work on Friday the 7th? Then, i think, it's useless for me because it would make the game more expensive than order it together with Golf Story in a few weeks. LOL, my horrible experiences with Yooka Laylee never ends XD

You're right, fucking hell I thought it was $40 which is what the eshop price is. $50 is a bit of a joke seeing how the xbox and PlayStation versions can be picked up for about $15. Might pass on this one then, already have the game digitally on xbox, cant really justify double dipping at that price.

It's worse for me. I was a backer of the Kickstarter. At the end i payed more (45,50 Euro) for my physical PS4 game than non-backers payed for their copy on amazon (i think it was 39,95 Euro). And non-backer even got their PS4 edition earlier than i did.

And the Switch version would cost me 50 Euro. At the end, 95 Euro (which is 110 USD) to own two copies of Yooka Laylee is maybe too much for me. At the end it's the same game. I will have think about that a little bit longer.

Gone Home is getting its first console release on Switch first, courtesy of iam8bit. Worked out to about $40 after shipping. A little pricey but I really loved this little walking simulator. It and Firewatch are my favorites of the genre thus far.

I've ordered VA-11 HALL-A a couple of months ago and I still haven't received it. Has anyone had the same issue? Is it a delay?

At this rate, LRG won't have to do any marketing or customer service anymore, we're all eager to do it for them.
