The thing with 'mature' content is that context is important, not just severity. Hatred is less violent than Doom but Nintendo would (rightfully) get a lot more flack for getting a port of that.

I mean, they released a completely untranslated japanese "game" in EU on the switch where you can call a real japanese adult star. Since the creation of the ESRB, a ratings system Nintendo had a direct hand in molding, this type of content has been permitted on their platforms. It's not 1993 anymore.

You don't see many direct comparisons when PS4 versions outsell other SKUs, because they're the market leader with a significant leg up on the competition. This wouldn't be interesting information at all. If XB1 versions started significantly outselling the other editions and devs divulged that information, you would absolutely see threads about it.
