Well good start for the Cubs. Hopefully Q can keep it going.
Btw I went to Miller Park for the first time on Labor Day. Holy shit the traffic was unbelievable getting there. We literally waited in a line for almost an hour just to get into parking. Didn't make until the 2nd inning. Makes me glad Wrigley is accessible by public transit. Miller is a pretty awesome venue though and the Cubs fans traveled well.

Well the Angels have recommended Ohtani gets Tommy John surgery after finding more damage. What a colossal screwup.

this team may have more wins but last year's team was a better ballclub. it's like they are forgetting what they learned.

I did say "I would like to think." What I actually expect to happen is that Severino starts the Wild Card game and gets shelled.
I'm still mind boggled that he could still hit two HR's. Granted, he's a left handed batter as opposed to a right handed pitcher, but still. He'll only hit during 2019 and probably pitch again in 2020 is my guess.
hand and perdomo for baez? maybe, but i don't believe theo would have done that, even though he does value top end relievers very highly. perdomo would have been an afterthought in that deal.

Cashman is a hack. Serving up old decrepit teams for a decade, then runs out the guy who would have been perfect to manage a young team.
Cashman did a full rebuild without tearing everything down like every other team has to. If you think he's a hack I'd hate to see what you'd say about... any other GM that could replace him.

the yankees are having an awesome season and things look great for them going forward, there's not much to complain about there
