Spider-Man Preload (46.225 GB) Is Up

Oh, is it one of those games that force the language to whatever your console is set to? I hate that, and Insomniac games ALWAYS do it. So these days I just set my consoles to English so I don't accidentally get a Swedish dub (which I doubt this game has anyway, but the Ratchet games always did).

Nothing is spoilery. We know the 3 pre-order suits. The Velocity suit was lakcing its powers form I saw before now it was added and it looks quite good. Also photomode was added in that patch
It seems they added another suit for the game.
So fellas don't play without the day one patch.
NG+ isn't included but will come one day.

If you buy the digital deluxe, is the only real bonus the DLC content? Is there anything else like skins locked to this SKU?
Yeah. You get some stuff early and a few free skill points, but there's nothing exclusive.
Nothing is locked behind any version, just unlocked early.
You get free skill points, unlocked costumes, and unlocked gadget at the beginning.
Neat, sold! I'll buy the DLC later if I get through the main story.
Depending on where you live, the Digital Deluxe Edition seems like a pretty good deal. In Europe it's only 10€ more expensive than the standard edition and includes the season pass. In the US the Digital Deluxe Edition is $20 more expensive.
Edit: Of course digital prices are already pretty high in Europe, so maybe that's why they did this.

I love being able to start downloads away from the house. Coming home to see new icons on the screen as soon as I start the system up still feels like magic.

How many times are they patching this game? I preloaded last night and downloaded 2 patches today.
Anyone having any issues preloading? I purchased on the store.sonyentertainment site a few days ago, but see no options for pre-loading. Checking the PSN store on my PS4 shows Spider-Man as Purchased, but I can't click on it. Can't start the download (or any for that matter) from the Sony site. Any ideas?
Did you try finding it in your library under the "purchased" tab? Sometimes you need to click the download button there.
It oddly doesn't show up in my library at all, despite it showing in my transaction history. Tried restoring licences. Nothing.

They have been very small in size i think the biggest one was 1.8GB and that was the photo mode patch others have been less than 500MB
and there is the better answer lol as for total size for those that want to know the game with the patches so far is 51.55GB.
Because it means high quality assets, most of the time, plus size doesn't matter much as long as you don't pile a lot of backlogs on ps4. Im on pro and phyiscal though, I just delete every game I platinum or finish so I don't have much storage problem.
If you mean download time though, yeah that sucks, that's why I'm still on physical most of the time
No I just mean GB size on the HDD. Some Xbox One X games are amassing over 100 GB on my console at the moment, so much so that it almost feels like the norm
I preordered the Digital Deluxe a month or so ago and I don't see the game anywhere. If I go to the store page it shows purchased, but it's not in my games, on my main games bar, or in my purchased games in library. Usually when I've preordered a game it will show in one of those spots. I'm hoping to have it preloaded and I seem to remember games automatically downloading and being available.
Any ideas?
