I definitely think we'll be getting less 3DS games and less ports that are to be expected, especially with this direct being before TGS and being a year and a half after the Switch has come out, I think we'll be seeing the efforts of developers that have started to work with the Switch now.

Marx is a fantastic villain and definite Kirby Villain slot material, but Bandana Dee has been the defacto player 4 of Kirby for a decade, and he's had numerous appearances outside of that. He feels needed to complete the quartet imo

We have NO characters, stages or assist trophies based on kirby games not made by him.

E3 was pretty rough for non-Smash people, but I think this one will be more varied. We just had a Smash focused thing, so I think this will just have one Smash trailer at the end or the start.

I feel the same. But shit, if we could get both Bandana Dee AND a true villain (Marx or Dark Matter), it would be so cool for us Kirby fans. I wasn't a fan during last smash direct during the K Rool trailer, during the hero vs villain thing, when Kirby was fighting Meta Knight. They are friends now :'(

Masked dedede is actually from Superstar Ultra so i guess thats only half bias since its Superstar but he didnt create that boss fight.

Same here. I LOVE Retro's DKC and I'm not much enthusiastic about the idea of a Star Fox Racing, so a new DKC would be great and if K. Rool was back that'd be GOTY.

Right? Meta Knight has hardly ever been a villain. That character art in the trailer is another reason I think Kirby won't get a new antagonist as well.

2 new Kirby reps would be amazing, but I don't expect it unless they go for an echo fighter ala Galacta Knight or someone along those lines that could work well with a current moveset. My dream pick would be Gooey as a Kirby echo (maybe a tongue tether instead of Kirby's final cutter), but that obviously won't happen for several reasons.
