It's a general direct and Nintendo said before E3 that they would talk about 2019 games there, beyond that they'll talk about new titles for fall as well

This. Phantom Theif made a topic about how terrible the pacing it was and such but considers it his top 5? I was so confused. Like, for a game that is such a bad slog, there are games with better pacing.
Anyways, portable P5 would be legit but MAN do they need to cut like fourty hours of the game when a redux version come out.

So you've got literally 18 minutes on console updates, only 3 games with any actual in-game footage, and 6 new game announcements in total. Compare that to today where nearly every game gets footage, there's 1 minute per game, and software stuff is barely talked about, and you'll see why some predictions here are way off-the-mark. Nintendo is never going to go back to the style of those early Directs, and I'm pretty sure they won't for this one.
