That sucks. I live in the burbs and we have great public transit connecting to the urban centre.
Maybe in your specific part of the world you'll need to live within major city limits for the conveniences you need. Not so everywhere.

I prefer to live in buttfuck. City life is too fast. I'm just a simple man. Give me a few acres and some peace and quiet and I'm happy. Only thing I require is power and decent enough internet connection for my vidyas. One of the best places I lived was a population of 500. Miss that place. I'm back in the city now and I just hate everyone.
The fact he relocated for a job kills the chance he is making that.
Beautifulwell I feel a bit weird posting interior pics online of my house...
but here are 2... one of the view from one of the decks:
and my little dock, kayaks + megaduck
my old Toronto house was 14' wide. trust me when I say the new one is... much bigger
Being right outside a city is still way better than being out in the middle of nowhere. The country is for living in, the cities are just to visit. I would hate living in Atlanta. Though I love to go downtown for events, I love the fact I can go and unwind on the back porch at home with the sounds of the boonies.
Way to ignore the posts that make it clear you are trolling lol.
Rule #1 of the internet is to ignore the haters, they will just drag you into their hate pile. I am trying to only respond to people who are being reasonable.Way to ignore the posts that make it clear you are trolling lol
The internet out here kills me as well, I've been pre-loading spiderman since I woke up like 8 hours ago.I prefer to live in buttfuck. City life is too fast. I'm just a simple man. You were able to afford living in chicago and shop at whole foods and relocated for a job that you cant even afford a cheap car payment on, yeah sure ok.Rule #1 of the internet is to ignore the haters, they will just drag you into their hate pile. So you can afford to buy new video games but too poor for cheap car payments. Alright. The internet out here kills me as well, I've been pre-loading spiderman since I woke up like 8 hours ago.
You are making assumptions about my buying habits, it's very easy to get a cheap meal/ingredients from whole foods. And if you're walking to/from you're saving on all sorts of costs. Car insurance is CRAZY compared to any of those costs my friend. You were able to afford living in chicago and shop at whole foods and relocated for a job that you cant even afford a cheap car payment on, yeah sure ok.

$45 for a video game I'll play for months is not bad, I bought after selling some old ones too :)You were able to afford living in chicago and shop at whole foods and relocated for a job that you cant even afford a cheap car payment on, yeah sure ok.

I quit an old job I did not enjoy. I didn't get a new job until after my move, why are you spreading false info guy?You were making 50k before and relocated to a rural area for a job and claim to be poor now. That doesnt make any sense. You dont relocate for a job that doesnt pay decently.
get a 15ish year old Camry or Civic or something and get liability insurance, you'll pay well under $100 bucks a month on just about any insurance company you can find.Car insurance is CRAZY compared to any of those costs my friend.
I love being in nature, sadly this place is mostly just corn and soy fields. I'd love to be walking distance from some hiking areas.Nature is boring as hell. I can't stand the look of it and hate being out in it. I'm a concrete cat.
He rather buy Spider-Man and keep complaining he is too poor apparently.get a 15ish year old Camry or Civic or something and get liability insurance, you'll pay well under $100 bucks a month on just about any insurance company you can find.

I recently moved and do not have access to Amazon same day deliveries. I feel lost and can't think of any reason I need to be this far from a city. There are only three places to order food from on Grubhub. The closest Whole Foods is about 100 miles away.. Help me find meaning in the middle of nowhere.
Whenever I look into insurance costs I get quotes that are over 100/month (higher with an old car like that), do you have any tips?get a 15ish year old Camry or Civic or something and get liability insurance, you'll pay well under $100 bucks a month on just about any insurance company you can find.

That's crazy. I'm paying $170 a month for two vehicles, both under 10 years old.Whenever I look into insurance costs I get quotes that are over 100/month (higher with an old car like that), do you have any tips?
I don't understand this, the only time an old car would cost more on insurance is classic cars on specialty insurance(like Hagerty). Granted you buy a 2003 Camry on a payment plan you will have to have full coverage, but a car like that won't take long to pay off(could be done in less than a year, depending on circumstances) and you can drop it down to liability, which is the cheapest option for car insurance and is almost always less than $100 a month(unless you have like mad traffic violations or something).Whenever I look into insurance costs I get quotes that are over 100/month (higher with an old car like that), do you have any tips?

The quotes must all be highly exaggerated then, I'll actually call and see what they tell me.That's crazy. I'm paying $170 a month for two vehicles, both under 10 years old.
I am sure the shoes were ethically produced as well.Remember, this is the guy who claimed he couldnt pay his rent yet owned two pairs of shoes both worth about $500 each.
If I can get fiber here I'd be so much more comfortableMy dream is to live in some remote place with fiber connection... Living next to the nature and still have a fiber connection to the internet
It's obvious OP won't reply to this. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's clear they are trolling at this point. Oh well...So wait a second. You cannot afford a car and insurance, but moved out of the city (expensive as hell to live in cities) are used to spending money on same day amazon deliveries, and shop at whole foods, arguably the most expensive grocery store, and order from grub hub enough to miss it.
Moved into an area that has nothing in it other than Walmart and Target, with bad roads, which means it's probably EXTREMELY cheap to live there plus you aren't spending money on those things mentioned above.
This doesn't add up at all.

Those shoes were sold to pay rent, they were being held onto for the value increase. They cost much less when I originally purchased. Are you actually interested in helping or just here to spread more false info?Remember, this is the guy who claimed he couldnt pay his rent yet owned two pairs of shoes both worth about $500 each.

Car insurance + payments would easily be more than I was paying monthly for groceries/food before. You have to realize I was mostly buying ingredients for cooking not pre-made meals and wine and fancy cheese lol. The grubhub I ordered pickup about twice a month and it was hardly a major cost. My complaint is the lack of access on grubhub, it's no longer a special bi-monthly treat when there are no options at all.So wait a second. I've been picking up as much Virtual work as possible due to the location, luckily I've gotten a few new clients lately. I just hope my crappy internet doesn't hinder my work going forward.I still don't buy how someone can be remote enough that they're surrounded by corn fields and can't reasonably make it to any kind of store, yet still live close enough to get to their job 5 days a week with no issues and somehow don't have any yard.
Unless you work picking corn none of what you're saying adds up. You're definitely exaggerating your situation for the purposes of the thread.
I'm not sure if your serious. You know in the real middle of nowhere like where I've lived all my life we had cars and *gasp* dirt roads? We didn't even have stores. We had a single gas station. Imagine how far we had to drive to grab milk. The roads out here are terrible I wouldn't buy a car because of all the damage it would be prone to.
