I lowkey hate games and movies and tv shows that end on the assumption they're just gonna have a sequel/another season

like the amount of hubris involved is astounding

As much as I love Xenosaga, they were fucked up to think they were gonna make like 6 games and then oops now they're only getting 3 better cram everything into the last one.

Kind of surprised at how hard they're lauding the humour/writing in Donut County, on its face I wouldn't have expected it to be Jeff's thing

He really liked night in the woods.

Like I think that type of humour and writing his home with people familiar with a sort of clique. I can totally see old Jeff being part of that.

Jeff being at the waypoint pax podcast and joining in for the last 15ish minutes was real nice.

Also going by their Mastodon posts, doesn't seem like Austin and Jeff will get much further in DQXI beyond six hours because of all the other games coming out....

Maybe Next Monday. Murder Islands are normally on Mondays.

I really need to get into Donut County, but not sure if I should pay the extra money on Mac or play it on the iPhone instead at a cheaper price. Also it makes sense Jeff likes the humor since he liked Night in the Woods as Antiwhippy said. Donut County has a similar sense of humor.

Fair I guess. I found most of it good but at times went a bit too hard on low-hanging twitter humour. Granted I believe the developer said a portion of the Trashopedia entries are from his own past tweets so I guess that fits.

I say this still having rather loved it and wishing there was more, lol.

I was having a hard time deciding too. Price difference is tempting but in the end I went for the bigger screen option to ogle at the art.

I feel like this has been every animated show about superheroes since the 90s. It's almost like using the question, "how many of our toys are kids with low attention spans buying?" As the only metric for success is a stupid way to run a TV show production. The last animated shows I got invested in were Young Justice and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and they both only lasted a couple of seasons before they got replaced with louder, shinier and more kid friendly versions.

Is it that it got too big for its own good? They seem to have better things to say about pax east but maybe I'm mistaken

It's so large and spread out and everyone is just slamming into each other. Everything is crowded and the lines are insane. Plus no one showers and it smells like shit.

PAX (East) is tiring at times and I feel like I've been consistently bad at seeing the things I should see ASAP on day 1 before there's crowds and regretting it later

I've enjoyed it as a way to see cool things and be with friends, but I mainly see the indie games + panels rather than big games anyway

and this year they scheduled the panels horribly for me so there was long stretches w/ nothing I'd want and then everything I wanted at once, with too much late at night as well

Hitman 2 isn't out yet.

I'm almost caught up to Alex in my ME replay. I did some more side quests and went to Noveria first, though. The thing is that I'm already at the tipping point of becoming game-breakingly powerful. The Liara/Tali combo is walking death if you're playing as a Vanguard or Soldier.

I'm liking the vibe of this PAX panel. Jeff and Abby are fun together, as are Ben and Dan.

What if Jeff moved to New York and joined GBEast?
