Spider-Man Preload (46.225 GB) Is Up

It's pretty normal for a high end single player. They're rarely over 50gb on launch day. If it had multiplayer that size would balloon to 60+gb over time easily.
It does have 3 DLCs coming but who knows how big they'll be.
Ah, this stuff doesn't bother me tbh, could just not use them until later
What are you basing that on? Many, if not most, AAA games launch under 50 GB

Hey, I have my account set as primary on my PS4 and nothing else downloading. But Spider-Man is stuck in the downloading queue on the PlayStation store website. How are you guys downloading it? I'm in NA.

Why is the preorder theme locked until Thursday like the game. I actually wanted to see how good it looks.
I think the updates will download automatically when the main game is downloading.I don't know if this was mentioned anywhere else, but the day 1 patch is around 2.50 GB.

Speaking of pre-loads and pre-order bonuses, is there any way to prevent the PS4 from downloading the pre-order bonuses immediately? Because every god damn time I have to delete them and then redownload after the game pre-load is done, otherwise the bonus content is stuck at "Waiting to install..." forever.
definitely get the day 1 patch, there's some good stuff there, including some stuff not directly mentioned in the patch notes

Had this game downloading last night already when I preordered off PS Store.
It should start automatically when you turn on the system. Sometimes you may have to go find it in your Library (under "purchased") and kickstart the download that way.
Yeah I was afraid of this. For example the Detroit preorder theme was utter shit and not worth it.
Are there actually preorder benefits with this game that will be removed on Friday? Or can I get the same package once the pre order period is over?
I want to play in English with Spanish subtitles, but you can't change the language in the game.
