Any time a "leak" is telling you exactly what happens in several trailers it's absolutely clearly fake. Real leakers will only know bits and pieces of information and usually won't even share everything they know.
Yep. No need to pay attention to paragraphs of details, no one will be in a position to share that much or even be privy to it.

Angola / Zaire border region.
Reading that leak is kind of sad... just imagine some person in their basement fantasizing about a direct in that amount of detail, and then going online to try to convince people they have insider knowledge.

The least they can do is try to make their leaks more believable. I have to just laugh at some of these half assed attempts at leaks.

Chapter 1: The opening

The Direct begins with a brand new opening featuring different coloured shapes. One is a red rectangle whilst another is a green triangle. There are 86 of these shapes and as they pass by, they start to form the Nintendo Direct logo. Miyamoto then peeks out from behind the logo holding a copy of Chibi Robo Zip Lash

Will red rectangle and green triangle ever cut through all of their sexual tension and get together? Find out in chapter 2, the continuing!

If this is the opening of the Chibi-Robo Smash trailer then I am in.

"Oh, I didn't see you there" Miyamoto says while constantly making direct eye contact with the camera. "I was just asking my friend Chibi Robo here where all the brand new Nintendo games are".

Koizumi falls out of the red rectangle. "Games such as Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door & Shadow Queen's Minions, coming exclusively to the Nintendo 3DS Family of Systems in 2019?" Koizumi states with a smile

a place beyond seeing...
Hmm...would media like GameXplain be privy to the timing of Directs ahead of time? If so, Derrick of GX is on vacation this week, and I don't think they'd intentionally short themselves on manpower during the week of a Direct...maybe it's next week (if at all) after all.

So much for me. I didn't know the story behind Marcus Sellars, I didn't know this guy was a phony. Thanks for the info, I'm gonna be suspicious of him now

All revealed in the next direct. I die of happiness

Not as crazy as January.
Yeah, that was way worse. We went from October to early January without much info on the upcoming line up. It was especially bad for those who didn't get Xenoblade. I love that game, but it's still pretty niche, so some didn't have a ton to look forward to after Mario released.

This feels slow for a pre-announcement hype thread, though the quality of the posts is the same.

I guess the Smash fans haven't had time to build up the thirst yet, or the title is keeping some people from realizing what's going on in here. Probably a little of both.

The thing I'm the most excited for in a new Direct are the smaller third party games. Like the Little Nightmares of the world that could possibly be announced.

What do you all think we could see?

Give it another couple of weeks
Nah even in a couple of weeks, we're still not too far after Octopath+Toad, and Mario Party, Pokemon, and Smash are all coming soon. Like I said above, by January most people hadn't played a big game since Mario three months prior and we knew nothing of the 2018 line up besides one port.

I really want to say that the media finds out about these directs the same time as the rest of us do.
