I've no doubt in my mind that they decided to make a Metroid Prime 4 like days before that teaser went out. Nintendo never shows teasers like that, and the fact that they did and had nothing more to show....

There is a big difference in budget between AAA and Nintendo AAA.
Still big budget does nothing with the quality of a game.

I'm just hoping to see new Fire Emblem footage and big Japanese third party games announced or shown such as Ace Attorney, SMT 5, new RPGs and possibly (I highly doubt it would happen) a 5th Gen Monster Hunter announced for the Switch. Since there are two development teams for Monster Hunter, I am kind of expecting (or at least hoping) to see the Generations team latest installment sometime soon.
Only appealing thing on that list for me is the Prime Trilogy

Just predictions. My wishlist would have a bunch of japanese RPGs and retro revivals.
I would be more happy with that than any list predicting Shadow in Smash.
They announced the game at E3 2017 to not upset the fanbase with the simultaneously announced 3DS game. To only show a small teaser was a deliberate choice, because they wouldn't have announced the game at all if not for Samus Returns. It has nothing to do with when development of the game started.
I don't doubt that for a second.
Nah we're not hearing about Retro's project until E3.
Which E3, that is the question. I'm betting it's next E3 but I thought that about this year's E3 too.
They certainly don't need a full Direct dedicated to the online service. They've shared information about it via press release before, and we know almost everything we need to know about it already.
I could see them touching upon it in the next general Direct but I don't think we should be counting on that.
Nintendo don't need to be saved! but fanboys' sanity does!
I hope for Online Service but we seriously don't need another direct for Smash Bros, they showed this game more than enough. I couldn't even bother to watch the whole E3 presentation. It's Smash Bros. It looks, sounds and plays like Smash Bros. I get it. Now show something else.
