Aya Kyogoku is one of the most competent, forward thinking and talented producers at Nintendo. Animal Crossing will be more than fine.
Don't you feel rejuvenated? Nintendo Directs are the fire that burns our souls. It feels so good.
No one knows whether to buy Spider-man because Nintendo nuked ResetERA. I can see such a scenario.
I always believed in a general Direct in the first two weeks of September. It made too much sense.

If there's a direct in 2018, I don't think we'll see any of those in it. They still sound like they're a long way off and we wouldn't likely see them until a direct in 2019.
Pikmin 4 *maybe* we would see, since we heard so many times it was finished and could be brought out any time.
The Direct starts.
Miyamoto appears. Pikmin 4 has been rethinked as a TellTale Adventure Game (with their old engine).
StarFox GP is cancelled. Retro Studios leaves the gaming industry and starts doing pachinko.
Metroid Prime 4 is delayed yet still doesn't have any release date. A new logo is shown but there's nothing interresting.
Konami CEO appears. A sequel to Symphony of the Night is coming for the Switch. Also, Gradius VI, made with Treasure, is coming to the Switch.
The Direct ends.
People says Konami are still full of shit. Both SotN 2 and Gradius VI are cancelled.
