Respectable response. It was actually pretty good.

He's about to get killed tho. MGK will be Ja Rule'd by years end.

MGK tweet was inappropriate but creeper? Especially compared to Emienem of ALL people.

Solid track. I think easily the best Eminem diss.

Pretty solid diss. If Em roasts him for it, he can at least say he threw some good bars at a legend.

Just the most vicious did track I've ever heard. His flow the words it all comes together. Dont think Benzino responded.

https://youtu.be/-TX6o7R8LSg

There was an earlier one I think with Dr. Dre as well dissing Ja Rule as well? I don't remember.

This shit right here. He had many tracks against Benzino before that were your usual sort of catchy tune in the style of Wanksta or Back to Back, but this is just a straight up intervention. The funny thing about this is that MGK's record hits on some of these same points, albeit way less effectively, since MGK doesn't have that ruthlessness. I think a proper rebuttal should be in this slow paced style where you can hear every single word perfectly and he can properly inflect emotion behind each line.

Edit:

By the way, the track with Dre your thinking about is Shit Hits The Fan, from Obie Trice's debut album. Eminem just sang the hook on the that.

But the had many tracks back forth (going at Ja Rule and Benzino)

Doe Rae Me ft D12
The Sauce
Bully
Hail Mary ft Busta Rhymes and 50 Cent
6 in the morning ft D12

Even his only feature with DMX (this was like a dream come true at the time) was a diss to Ja Rule:

Agreed. It's not like MGK put on a technical clinic or anything (he really can't,) so Em doesn't have to try to outshine him there.

Basically Jake paul level bars. He is one of the only dudes who deserved to be split roasted for his pervy talk about his daughter. He's a nobody he has less to lose than gain from charging at a tank with a butter knife.

"You mention me, millions of views, attention in news
I mention you, lose-lose for me, win-win for you
Billions of views, your ten cents are two"
Eminem in The Ringer

True. MGK will get attention and views now.

This man had a whole sing to come with at least half the effortless metaphors and double entendres that Em hit him with in half a verse.. and all he came with were safe smooth soap bars with the brand name eaten away. Its a weak song you tube rapper caliber. Nah is what I say to anyone who seriously thinks this was good. I'm worrying about the next generation of rap even more now.

Glad he responded. In the spirit of hip-hop he should have. That being said, if that's the best he got, he's going to get spanked. 3 stars out of 5.

Cycles, my friend. Lyrical rap ain't going away. Next gen will be fine. I wouldn't put too much on MGK or folks thinking this was above average for him in regard to the future of rap lol. I don't think anyone is using this dude as a bar for bars.

Eminem has written terrible lyrics for the last sixteen years.

He obviously wrote many good things 16-20 years ago but jesus christ, it's been 16 years since he was good at writing lyrics.

Like, Metallica might be the best metal band of all time and they haven't written above mediocre music in 28 years.

Sometimes a musician isn't good anymore.

Mkay..... so you're saying Em's first three albums are good and the rest are trash? Please confirm.

The hottest of takes ive ever read lol
it's a spicy take but positively cold considering that it's going almost 2 decades back.

The heat of a take is dependent on how quickly and aggressively the take materialized in response to something. Saying that Em hasn't been good for decades is arguable but it's far from a hot take lol

Doing Robot things
Eminem didn't mention the dudes family in Not Alike, he just went straight for his shit, and told him to shut the fuck up. Honestly, this dude is going to the shadow realm with Ja Rule. MGK shouldn't have mentioned Eminem's family.

That line about Kim. Em was ready for this, such a lame attempt at dissing from MGK

Jam a Crest Whitestrip in the tip of my dick
With an ice pick, stick it in a vise grip
Hang it on a spike fence, bang it with a pipe wrench
While I take my ballsack and flick it like a light switch
Like vice-president Mike Pence
Back up on my shit in a sidekick as I lay it on a spike strip
These are things that I'd rather do than hear you on a mic
Since nine tenths of your rhyme is about ice and

Someone gonna fuck on my bitch? (Fuck my side chick!)

You won't ever see Em icy
But as cold as I get on the M-I-C
I polarize shit, so the Thames might freeze

Huge Eminem fan here and damn that shit was fire. Em legit gets called on his stagnation over the last decade, you can feel it in his the last couple of albums. I couldn't even finish MMLP 2.

I hope Em replies so we get some entertainment but I have a feeling people hyping his reply to be some egendary diss might end up disappointed.

What's fire about this? Em rightfully called out MGK for his pedo tweet. And MGK just straight up insulting Em and his appearance

"You beard is weird"
"You're old"
"You're ugly"
"I dress better than you"
"I'm taller than you"

Yeah...If that is fire these days then rap is dead

Finally listened to it.

MGK is definitely playing with fire. I think the one thing people to keep in mind is that making a diss track is a lot different from making an album, and Eminem is a very angry dude whose at home making diss tracks. I would expect his track whenever that drops be of a higher caliber than any album he's put out because he doesn't have to worry about a dozen songs with continuity. MGK diss was good, but he's like a good hunter going up against a bear with his fists

Edit: I also expect that jab at Eminem about reading the dictionary and being a nerd to bite him in the ass

MGK raps slow and uses little to no wordplay so the diss record is easy to understand. And the beat and hook are catchy. This will play well to the majority of hip hop fans.

Nah. The whole point of the song is him calling out Em for bullying him and stifling his career, and Em acting as if MGK was still creeping on his daughter when it was a comment he made more than half a decade ago.

He just tryna eat lol
If he was trying to eat maybe he should step his game up. Eminem got street respect from his skills. Does MGK have street respect?

Dude is not even Paul Wall levels of good, he is no where near Eminem. The conversation gets muddied by the youth hating on the last generation though. They have come to accept mediocrity as skills.

Mad respect to MGK for not lying down and taking the L, he had the balls to step and up tell Eminem what's what.
Can't wait for Eminem's response.
I didn't get a surgical Summer, hope Autumn's more fruitful.

And I have to laugh at others trying to act like it was a moderate diss, this fool went in. Respect it.
It's not even in the same tier as Ja Rule's, this was much better.

i hate how everyone in hip hop has to pretend that eminem is the goat, top 5 for that matter
Seriously fam.
He's great, top tier even. But he's no "Rap God".

Not really...you would have to be a big star from the beginning to get Ja Ruled...even if Eminem destroys him I doubt that MGK hardcore fans are gonna stop listening to him, it's expected.

Also Rules star was already coming down fast because of the 50 beef before Em for involved ...but yeah Em was the nail in the coffin when D12, Obie, Dre, Busta Rhymes, DMX and co. went in lol.
