What they had up until now just isn't for me, except Smash of course.
Better that than no games for the majority of the year. Even the best Wii U year had most it's games in the last part of the year.

The thing about this thread I like the most is how many more open Wonder Red supporters we have now than the first DT. I'm seeing constant references to him and that makes my heart warm.

I don't think anyone is teasing a character, "reset the clock" is a common meme used in regards to Directs.
Yeah on top of that alot of people use Majora's Mask for meme fodder for hype because of it's time/countdown theming. It could potentially be more fitting in this regard though.
