It feels like this change was used to appease the "I don't want to see politics" crowd

Yeah I can't find the topic to post about non-bug issues if there is one. Redirect me to that topic if there is and lock this one

But anyway, yeah. All the topics about racism, sexism, and the like are stuck in this.... Frankenstein's Monster of a topic where.

I mean, it's nice that major issues that affects a whole bunch of people is grouped with the same topics about sneakers and how much sex people are having. :/

Wasn't ResetEra suppose to be the place where the marginalized in gaming can finally feel like they belong? Now it feels like it's falling to the same trap with the added bonus of "I just wanna talk about anime and comics and the MCU"

I'm missing the point of all these changes, aren't posts about everything else just in EtcetEra?

On the other hand it might be a good change for people who have absolutely zero interest in anime and comics and MCU as well...

People are really overreacting. Have a peek at Entertainment. There's plenty of threads that are political.

I don't like this update, but I also don't see what the problem is in separating serious news from lighter off topic discussion.

Yeah, I don't see that. We have 4 forums, each with a fairly well defined topic of conversation. There were tons of entertainment topics, enough to justify a separate forum. To be honest, I like it.

I like the changes. I never went into etcetera hangouts even though there was stuff I was interested in because discussions died so quickly. This should keep the community more active.
