SIEJA PlayStation LineUp Tour video live show set for September 10

This happens all the time with TGS because there are reallly no leaks unlike with something like E3. Back when DQ Heroes was announced for the PS4 at TGS there wasn't even a single rumor of anything DQ related coming to the PS4.
I kinda stopped caring about Sony's TGS showcases after the last two were abysmal, but who knows, they might pull it out of the bag this year.

An opportunity for a new mecha game announcement I'm all up for. We got three last year.
I don't expect a litany of announcements like in earlier (13/14/15) TGS showcases, but every year tend to have a few interesting stuff, so fingers crossed.
So far in terms of what has some amount of noise...
- new SNK game reveal ( as per recent Sep 10th date )
- new Nagoshi-teased IP ( latest SEGA Nama )
- Shin Sakura Wars reveal ( Nagoshi mentioned last month that we might finally have a glimpse of what the game is by summer/before TGS )
So far in terms of what has some amount of noise...

Ys IX and Dragon Quest Heroes 3 have a decent chance of showing up. Then whatever Rayspace is.
Nah, they'll save that for one of their events.
We're suppose to hear more about Left Alive this month, maybe even the release date it seems. I could imagine we might see it here.
Don't they usually announce them in their own event?
If Rayspace is real I'll buy 2 copies.
That's about the only real JRPG you're gonna get, lol. Granblue is supposed to be in December, and everything else is probably next gen at this point. Project Awakening, Project Re:Fantasy, Project Prelude Rune...
Project Prelude Rune is next-gen? There will also be Tabata New IP next-gen.

The only reason I mention Rayspace is the weird as shit space-faring Dualshock 4 branding they have for the event. I don't see why they'd think to brand it at all if it wasn't tied to a specific game.
My bullet points refer to only tangible teases that's been made recently. Even if those 3 games aren't actually at the SIEJA event, they'll be announced sometime this month.
Whereas Japan Studio... while the devs/pubs have teased that they would like to show something at their year-end interviews/etc, they're vague and frankly I have no expectations for Japan Studio's next major releases to still be PS4 games. I'm thinking they'll be PS5 games, and thus not revealed until after PS5 is revealed.
predicting this will be a nothing burger like always. the only fun part is listening to the translators and thats not worth staying up for.
I hope we finally get to see Project Awakening. That's really the only thing I'm looking forward to seeing.
I've been hoping and looking for these types of clues in Sony's last 3-4 conferences but no announcement of Rayspace. There have been stars background graphics for several of their last events. Maybe they're building up hype towards the reveal?

Even if Rayspace exist as a substantial game, thinking that Sony has been planning it or teasing it since several events ago via stars in their background image is a stretch. The only community that cares about Rayspace as a concept or potential reveal is the small die-hards on the ERA first-party thread, and I'm fairly confident they aren't bothering to cater to our curiosities in the least.

Though I do wonder, does Sony have a different marketing cycle for their Japan developers? Like from announcement to release?

We got ZoE 2 remaster last year, so yeah, there's a chance.
