Keep in mind some of the ordering of that list is currently wrong. There are some errors with Sonic and battle Fantasia and kof 94. I'm sure science will fix it eventually.

Battle monsters is a good game. Sure, Jeff gave it 4.5 like 20 years ago, but he was on a deadline. It being the 12th best game isn't far fetched. I mean, I recognized alot of the characters from salty bet. And they're A-S tier on saltybet. They are strong fgihters.

When I bought my Sega Saturn, it came with a complete boxed copy of Battle Monsters, I had some fun playing and regret that I sold it later. Have not seen the episode yet, but it wasn't that bad. Had a good soundtrack and some goofy charm.

And I don't care that they're playing random fighting games. Just publish the list once they're finished. Documentary researchers don't publish their content piecemeal, even if it takes years; giantbomb should've taken that route.
